It was silent.

All you could hear was Daryl trying to calm Carol down as she cried. "Don't look. Don't look."

While the Greene family cried silently, Keeley sobbed into Lori's arms as she held Carl. Nobody moved, breathed even except Beth, who got up and ran for one of the bodies on the ground. Peeling Manny's body off of her mother's corpse.

Keeley finally let go of the grasp she had on Lori and stood, tripping on nothing as she tried to control her breathing as she started to slowly make her way to her brothers body when the walker grabbed Beth.

Everyone except Keeley ran to save the girl. "Pull her away! Pull her away!"

Shane was able to pull Beth out of the walker's grip as Andrea swung a scythe into its head. Beth continued to sob in Hershel's arms as Keeley dropped next to Manny's body.

She could tell it was him by the birthmark he had under his chin and his brown eyes, except they were glossed over. Keeley didn't bother wiping the tears the fell from her face, she didn't care about anything anymore.

Keeley felt empty, again.

She didn't move for what felt like hours until Rick and Glenn had to physically lift her up and bring her into the house. They placed her on a bed and she just stared up at the ceiling, not moving as memories of her brother flooded her mind. From the ones Keeley could remember from an early age to the ones, she could never forget.

It felt like the last piece of hope Keeley had died with her brother. She didn't want to move, she didn't want to breathe as she laid on her side wishing that she could have her brother back.

Keeley could hear the others screaming at each other outside but soon their voices started to fade into nothing. She felt everything and nothing at the same time.

The heartache, the numbness, even the loneliness.

Keeley laid there for what felt like hours until someone opened the door and she didn't move or say anything as Carl laid next to her. He just laid there next to her in silence until he spoke.

"We gonna have a funeral. For Sophia, your brother, and Hershel's family. Are... Are you gonna-"

"No," Keeley whispered, her voice raspy from sobbing. All she wanted to do was lay there for the rest of her life and not move. Her heart aching with pain as she thought that the hole in her heart will never be filled again with the same love her brother gave her.

Carl didn't say anything as he laid his head on Keeley's stomach understanding her pain considering he too had just lost his best friend.

Hours passed after the funeral and Lori had visited Keeley earlier and brought her a PB & J sandwich, but she didn't even look at it let alone touch it.

Keeley felt emotionally and mentally exhausted and slowly her eyes started to close and she didn't fight it, she had no energy left to do anything.

And her eyes finally shut and Keeley hoped that they wouldn't open again. But sadly, she was woken up by Lori a couple of hours later.

The woman told her that Beth passed out due to shock and Hershel was nowhere to be seen and Rick and Glenn went to look for him. Then she dropped a bomb which made the situation even worse.

"Carl said that he would've shot Sophia himself." Still laying down, Keeley turned around to face her. "What?"

"He said that he wanted to do what he knew Shane would've done. Shane's presence is rubbing off on him and I don't like it."
