They sat in the dining area, eating breakfast when Rick finally came back from the tombs to check on Carl, Keeley, and the baby.

"Everybody okay?" They all looked up to see him standing at the doorway.

"Yeah, we are," Maggie answered.

Rick started walking closer to Carl and Keeley, hesitating every step.

"What about you?" Hershel asked.

"I cleared out the boiler block," Rick said with no emotion in his voice. "How many were there?" Daryl asked.

"I don't know. A dozen, two dozen. I have to get back. I just wanted to check on Keeley and Carl." He said as he patted Carl on the back and kissed Keeley on the forehead.

"Rick, " Glenn said standing up. "We can handle the bodies. You don't have to."

"No, I do." He insisted. He walked up to Daryl. "Everyone has a gun and a knife?"

"Yeah. We're running low on ammo, though."

"Maggie, Keeley, and I were planning on making a run this afternoon. Found a phone book with some places we can hit, look for bullets and formula."

"No, you and Maggie can go, not Keeley. I need her and Daryl to look over while I'm out."

Keeley sighed, cradling "Little Ass-Kicker" as the conversation kept going.

Rick wasn't trying to control Keeley he just didn't know if she was ready to go back out on runs, it's been a couple of days since Lori had passed and he just wanted his daughter to have a clear mind before going back out in this dangerous world.

Hell, he still isn't ready.

"We cleared out the generator room," Daryl informed. "Axel's there trying to fix it in case of emergency. We gonna sweep the lower levels as well."

Rick shook his head as he started to walk away, "Good. Good."

"Rick!" Hershel shouted after him, but it was no use. He walked in the tombs, shutting the door behind, without giving them a second glance.

A couple of hours after Rick had left in a hurry, Hershel went after him, while Daryl, Carl, Oscar, and Keeley went to go clear out the rest of the prison.

Maggie and Glenn had already left for that run for supplies, while Beth watched the baby.

Daryl was in the front leading, while Keeley held the flashlight. Carl was in the middle leaving Oscar to cover the back.

A door started creaking as Daryl got near it.

"Check it out. Must have missed it last night." Oscar said as he came up behind them.

"It's probably just one or two of them, " Keeley claimed.

"Don't look like they got much fight," Daryl said as he pushed against the door with a finger. "They ain't going nowhere. We'll take care of it on the way back."

Oscar turned around and went the other way, as Daryl continued walking in the opposite direction. Carl had his head down, not even paying attention to the whole thing. Keeley nudged him with her hip, "Come on." He didn't say anything as he followed Daryl.

Daryl took notice of his behavior and tried to make Carl feel a little better about the situation.

"You know, " Daryl started. "My mom, she liked her wine. She liked to smoke in bed."
