¿There really isn't... a reason?

All the Titans were called to a meeting. I was kind of upset that I was called too, but I am a Titan so I guess I should have expected it.

"Thank you all for coming on time." Robin spoke. We all sat at the round table as Robin pointed to countless screens explaining our next mission.

"Our goal is to get in this building without causing a lot of noise. I've been hearing a lot of complaints about this area. Weird smells, noises, sights of smoke, whatever. I've heard it all. I'm starting to think it has something to do with Slade but I'm not sure." He said.

I found it hard to breathe when I heard his name. I suddenly because afraid of everyone on the room.

Robin was still talking, but my mind was racing to the point where I couldn't hear him.

I could hear my heart pump all throughout my ears.

My heart pumped so much I could feel my eyes pulsing due to panic.

"Raven?" I got snapped out of my thoughts when I noticed Robin was talking to me.

"Yeah?" I said quickly.

"Did you hear me?" He asked.

"No. I didn't." I said. Everyone was staring at me causing my cheeks to turn pink.

"I said you can sit out for this one. I understand you are—" I cut him off already knowing how the sentence was going to end.

"I will. Thanks." I said, playing with my fingers under the table.

"Okay... That's really all I had to say. Study your parts guys. Dismissed." Robin said and I was the first one to leave the room.

I started to walk into my room, but I heard Starfire trying to speak to me.

"Friend Raven surely you are hungry! Friend Cyborg is making dinner. You will join us correct?" She chirped

"Starfire I... I don't know." I said some-what defensively.

She stepped closer to me in a way that kind of freaked me out.

"I know you are hurting right now. Can you see that we all care much for you? Won't you please join us for dinner? It would make all of us filled with joy." She said. I sighed, not really seeing a way to escape this.

"Fine. But I'm not staying long." I crossed my arms.

"Glorious!" She said and flew away. I'm guessing she went to the kitchen.

I swallowed and started to walk to the kitchen, regretting every step I took to get closer.

I cut the corner kind of fast and I didn't realize Beastboy was heading the opposite way around the corner causing me to crash right unto him.

"I'm sorry." I said quickly. I felt really nervous inside.

"It's all good. I should have been paying attention." He chuckled. "Are you okay?" He asked.

"Yeah I'm fine." I said looking down.

"That's good. I was just going to my room then I'll be out to eat. Are you eating with us or no?" It took me a moment to answer.

"I'm eating with you guys if that is okay."

"That's awesome dude! Can't wait." He ended the conversation kind of quickly and he went to his room.

I've noticed something since I've been back. He hasn't tried to hug me, or touch me, or even talk to me like he did before I was captured. When Starfire tried to hug me, that was really the last time I saw him. Besides seeing Him in the corner of my eye at the tower. That was the closest I've been to him.

He's changed.

Well, I guess I have too.
