I slowly felt myself starting to wake up.
I felt strong, tender fingers rub my cheek.
I smiled, already knowing who was touching my cheek.
I took my hand that was draped over his stomach and rubbed my eyes before I opened them.
When I opened them, I saw the light to my darkness.
He had a huge smile on his face, and it was honestly too precious.
I leaned forward and kissed his lips tenderly.
"Hi." I whispered, grabbing his hand.
"Hi." He said with the cute grin still on his face.
I yawned and rested my head back on the pillow, closing my heavy eyes.
I felt him lift his hand and he took his thumb and continued to trace my cheek.
"What are you doing?" I asked with a smirk tugging in the corner of my mouth.
"Looking at you."
"That's not creepy at all." I said sarcastically as I opened my eyes.
I took my hand and placed it on the one that was rubbing my cheek.
"I love you." He whispered, kissing the top of my head.
"And I love you." I took my hand and started playing with his messy hair.
It resulted in a purr of gratification.
I giggled and wrapped my arms around his neck, still playing with his hair as I held him in an embrace.
"Are you hungry?" He asked, pulling away after a few moments.
"Kind of." I replied.
He slowly got up and sat on the edge of my bed, stretching his arms and back.
I got up and hugged around his torso, placing a kiss on the back of his shoulder.
"Do you want me to make you something to eat?" I asked, resting my cheek on the back of his shoulder.
"Nah, you had a rough night."
"You did too. You woke up with me." I defended.
"Yeah, but I wasn't the one that had the nightmare."
"No you didn't, but you had to deal with the after math of it."
"You're more important than me. Case closed. I won, you lost." He chucked, slowly getting up to put a shirt on.
"I hate you." I handed him his crutches.
"No you don't." He winked at me and started to crutch out of the room.
"How are you going to carry the tray in here genius?"
He bit his lip, slightly chewing on it, thinking of something to say.
"I'm coming with you." I got up and grabbed my cloak.
I felt lightheaded as I got up but I tried my best to ignore it.
When I put me cloak on and I turned around he was staring at me.
"What?" I asked.
He chuckled, and kept staring at me.
I raised my eyebrows, and walked closer to him.
"What?" His smile was becoming very contagious.
"You're just so beautiful." He said, still a big smile on his face.
I smiled back at him, feeling the fire start to slowly grow.
I never realized how much of an amazing person he was.
I wished I would have noticed this before.
I walked up to him and pulled him into a hug, letting my cheek rest on his shoulder.
He hugged me firmly and I heard his crutches fall to the ground.
"I hope you know you're picking those up for me." He joked.
"I will." I whispered.
"Are you okay?" He asked in a whisper.
"Yeah I'm okay. I just love you so much. You're such an amazing person." I slightly rambled. He gave me a tight squeeze.
"I love you so much too. And I already know that I'm an amazing person." He chuckled.
I hugged him tightly and I felt our bodies slightly sway.
I've never felt more blessed in my life to have someone as amazing as him.
I'm so glad we crossed paths, and I wished I could express that to him.
But, for now, I'll try my best to tell him.
