My eyes slowly opened, and that's when my headache began to start up again.
I tried to sit up, but my muscles ached too much.
It felt like someone had put my body in a hydraulic press.
When my eyes finally focused on everything that was in my sight.
I was in Beastboy's room.
Beastboy was laying beside of me with his back facing me.
I sighed in relief, feeling my body become more calm.
My body, though it was calm, jerked with cold chills.
When he heard my sigh, along with feeling the bed shake his ears slightly went up and he flipped over to see me.
"Hey Rae." He whispered, smiling with his fang hanging out.
"Hi." I said in the same tone. Yawning as I shut my eyes.
I felt his hand start stroking my hair, and it felt amazing.
"What happened?" I asked tiredly.
"I don't know. Robin went up to get you and you passed out. Did you use your powers?" He asked.
I answered with a nod.
"That's probably why. Rae you need to rest. You can't use your powers right now. It can really hurt you." He slightly scolded.
I ignored him, mainly because I didn't want a long lecture right now.
My body bravely jerked with another cold chill.
I scooted towards him and he took me in his arms.
I was desperate to feel his warmth, and my craving was relieved.
"Did you hear me?" He continued to play with my hair.
I nodded again, nuzzling under his chin.
"I'm serious. I don't want you getting hurt."
"I know. I shouldn't have." I said slightly annoyed. My head was pounding enough and he was just adding to it.
I felt him sigh, and he gave me a tight squeeze.
"I'm sorry. I just... I love you, Raven. I don't want you to hurt anymore than you have to." He defended.
I lifted my head, and kissed his cheek.
"I love you too. And I appreciate that. I'm not mad at you, not at all. My head just hurts and my muscles ache and I'm really, really, really cold." I breathed out, feeling happier when he squeezed me tighter to him.
"Are you feeling okay?" He asked me.
"I've been better." I shrugged my shoulders.
My mind all of the sudden thought of Brooke.
"Where's Brooke? Is she okay?" I asked him.
"Yeah, she's okay. The police got her to the station." He assured me.
"That's good."
My mind still had so many questions.
So many questions for him.
"Beastboy?"
"Hm?"
"Can I ask you something?"
"Go for it." He chirped.
"How... how did you know what to do?" I asked.
"What do you mean?" He asked in a confused manner.
"I mean... you knew exactly what to do with her. You knew exactly what to say. How?"
He sat there for a moment, thinking about what he would say.
"I don't know. I just try to imagine myself in the situation, and say what I would want to be said to me. I didn't really say much, though, with her. Don't give me too much credit. She just started talking, and then I went with it the best I could." He explained.
"That's actually smart."
"I have some smart ideas believe it or not." He chuckled.
"That's not what I meant." I hissed.
He laughed again and placed a kiss on my forehead.

Sorry, short chapter. And a sucky ending along with probably a few spelling errors. I'm working on a new book and hopefully it's good :)
