Chapter 6

Zel POV

"oi Derrieri!"

"wat"

"come to this stupid dance with me will ya?"

"no. y would I?"

"bc i don't wanna look alone and besides there will be free food"

"alright i'm in"

The next day~

It was the time for the party. Me and Derrieri were in this carriage with Meliodas and Elizabeth to Camelot. I'm wearing a red and black tux and Derrieri is wearing an orange and red dress. Meliodas is wearing a white tux and Elizabeth is wearing a white and grey dress to match with Meliodas.

"nishishishishi" giggled Meliodas

"wtf was that" Derrieri said 

"Ah well it's weird for you to go with Zeldris to this dance when you two seem to hate each other"

"Friends can go together to dances. Besides we're there for the food" I said

"Oh well shouldn't you go there to support Camelot and Arthur?" said Elizabeth. I pulled ELizabeth closer and whispered in her ear

"Listen idc if you're with my brother but I don't like you and I want you to know that"

She gave me a confused look and lifted her eyebrows. 

"Zeldris stop being such a dick" said Derrieri

"Stop being a bitch"

"I really don't get your friendship" said Meliodas. "you say you're friends but you hit each other and call each other mean names. What kind of friendship is that?"

"A real friendship?" I said. "you never seen friendship before?"

"Zel, dont be dumb. Ofc I have but your friendship with Derrieri seems violent"

"well yea not all friendships are all rainbows and sunshines"

"yea ik. Just how dumb do you think I am?"

"very"

"wow how nice"

"we're here" said the carriage men

We all got out and went inside the ballroom. There was some crappy old school love music from the country sides. It sucked to be honest. It sucked ass. There was a huge table of foods. It was like a huge buffet. I got one of each of everything. There was steak, there was pudding, there was buffalo wings, oyster, caviar, salmons meatballs, spaghetti, I got them all. Me and Derrieri raided most of the foods. Most of the people in the dinning area were mad at us but who gives a fuck bout them. The food was delicious. Later on we had to sit down for some boring speeches about Camelot. After that it was the dance. Again some boring love country music was playing. I was sitting down drinking my cocktail and eating my steak. I looked around the room and I spotted Arthur dancing with Merlin. He seems happy at least. Merlin also looks like she's enjoying herself. I eyed Arthur as he danced. He was blushing madly when he danced. It was kinda... cute I guess. He was young and has this baby face so it looked cute. I watched him twirl around and jumped happily. 

"something catch your eye?"

I turned around. It was Derrieri. 

"what do you think?"

"well for you to be focused on something so deeply, I think yes"

"well i guess your right"

"I'm always right"

"this music sucks ass"

"yea it's shit"

"should we sneak into the music room and change it to something else?"

"oooh sure" she smirked. 

We both 'secretly' sneaked into the music room where the music was playing. We changed the music to "yeah" by Usher. (don't asked how they have 2010 music when this timeline is set back in the Medieval times) Everyone looked confused. They heard the lyrics and some people were disgusted and hated it. Well fuck them. The other few loved it. The sins thinks some terrorist did this or something and got their swords and headed out. Arthur was very confused. Me and Derrieri laughed at everbody's faces. We set the volume to high. After the music ended we 'secretly' went back down without anybody noticing us. The song unfortunately ended. When it did I saw Arthur get the microphone. Looks like he's going to confess. 

"uh I think I would like to have everyone's attention" he said. Wait in front of everybody? Is he an idiot? WhAT the. 

"Merlin, I would like to say. You're my everything. You're the most important person to me. You've been so nice to me and you're an irreplaceable person in my heart. So to get this all over with. I-I-I-I Like Y-y-you. I hope you can accept my feelings." then a bunch of ribbons fell out of the sky and flowers were thrown at her. 

Merlin looked shocked but not too shocked as she suspected that he liked her before. She was suddenly thinking. 

"well Arthur this is a surprise but I'm sorry but I can't accept them. There's already someone in my heart. I'm sorry."

Arthur looked down and sadden. I was relieved for some reasons but I felt bad for him too. He ran outside. Merlin looked upset. But I didn't care about her. After 20 more minutes of raiding the dining area and I was full I went outside to get some fresh air. I saw Arthur. Damn how long was he out there? I walked up to him to cheer him up because he seems embarrassed. 

"so hey"

"hey..."

"Sorry about what happened out there"

"why are you apologising? It's not even your fault". I was trying to be nice geez. 

"Well I was the one who suggested it but I didn't think she would reject you. I'm real sorry man"

"ah well It's ok"

"well what r u gonna do now?"

"well I'm going to avoid her probably"

"running away like a little pussy forever I see"

"well not forever of corse but when we're cool again"

"right"

"So nice party eh?"

"yea I guess"

We stood in silence for a little while.

"listen if you ever feel like you need to talk. You can just talk to me alright?"

"yea sure. Thanks"

"no problem"

"well that was awfully nice of you to offer"

"well, like I said i'm not that bad"

He smiled. He smiled. He smiled. There's something in my heart that aches so bad but I don't know what it is. It's clenching so bad.

"Well it's almost time to go, I better head back"

"alright then"

He walked back and turned around. He waved. I smiled. I looked up at the stars. Were they always this pretty. I was mesmerised by them. Then stupid Dickhead started calling me.

"oi shorty! we're going now" yelled Derrieri

"alright! Shut up"

I walked back into the carriage with her. We went home and slept. It was nice and peaceful. It was a tiring day so I slept pretty well. I still felt bad about Arthur but I hope he gets it over with.
