Chapter 9

Derrieri POV's (something different this time)

I just off of work and I started walking back home. I arrived at home 10 minutes later. I opened the door. I see Zeldris sleeping on the sofa. What a lazy fuck. He didn't even make dinner. Well that's just nice, letting the females do all the work huh? Not up my ass that would happen. I hit him hard. He woke up. 

"oi half-ass!" I yelled at him. 

"whatchu yelling for? I just woke up"

"make me dinner I'm starving."

"make your own dinner I'm not hungry"

"oh yea. I'm doing everything in the house rn. Even if I cooked for myself then you'll sneak up on me and steal some of the food I made. Like you did yesterday"

"oh alright fine as long as you shut up."

I watched him cook veal dishes. It smelt good so it better be good. Once he was done he left the veal dishes on the dining table. 

"ok here is your stupid food"

He grabbed his own plate and left for his room. He shut the door. I stood there confused asf. He seems sad. Is he bored of me now. I went to his room and knocked on his door. 

"oi why aren't you eating with me?"

"I don't feel like it" he says looking up at the ceiling. 

"Don't tell me you're already bored of me"

"Says who?"

"ok then if it's not me then who?"

"Dunno just Arthur"

"oh your boyfriend I see" I joked. I was obviously joking. 

"haha very funny girl" he says sarcastically

"Yea i'm obviously joking. So what about him?"

"idk he's just judging me for being a stripper saying it's bad for me and get another job"

"oh those haters"

"I mean I guess he's tryna say he's looking out for me since he thinks more problems might happen but he doesn't need to be so rude about it"

"ok I'm done listening to your problems"

"alright" He said. That surprised me. 

"Hey you always stop me when I leave in the middle of your rants. Is it that bad?"

"I dunno. It seems to hurt me" As he says that I clench my fists. 

"w-well don't hang out with him next time" I say. He looked me surprised.

"is this the first time you've cared about me?"

"hah i dunno"

"well ok. I just feel like I need to talk to him about this" Oh god I can't hear anymore of this.

"You know what bye, I can't listen to this"

"OH ALRIGHT THEN" he says sarcastically mad. 

I ate by myself. The veal was cold now. I feel sick listening to Zeldris today. I have no idea why.

Zel's POV

I woke up and felt like shit. I went over to Meliodas' place. I never thought I would say this but I need his stupidity to cheer me up. yes ik it sounds stupid but Meliodas being stupid cheers me up anyways. I walked into the bar looking perfectly normal so Meliodas doesn't give me those pep talks if he sees me sad.
