The light trickled in through the window, casting the room in a soft glow. Somewhere during the night, they both ended up wrapped in each other on Thomas's bed. Jess had one arm protectively around Thomas's waist and the other one buried in the mop of blonde hair.
Thomas was nuzzled between Jess's head and his rest, his arms resting on the other's chest. The hand that was draped over Thomas's waist intertwined with his own hand. Even though they ended up waking up together in the same fashion the day before, this time it was different.
The hesitancy was gone and now it was all feelings and emotions. They felt free and loved with each other and with that the safety that Thomas had so often desired to feel again. And so, when they woke up it wasn't awkward like before, it was something else entirely.
It was full of morning kisses and softly spoken promises but more importantly it was filled with a love that neither could even begin to describe.
