ROUGE 13: New Headquarters

The commotion caused by the collapse of the members with zero has died down after several hours. It was almost morning but no one in the mansion was asleep. There was complete silence in the living room where the rest of the palace ninjas were currently sitting down and left alone with their thoughts,having been able to search and retrieve Yuki,Nevaeh, Maxfire,and Heza who left prior to the collapse. The Prince was at the armory to blow off some steam and to possibly think. However, the Princess was with Thunder sitting just by the foyer, in her lap sat Storm as he tried to fall asleep but was ultimately failing. 

Alice and Penelope has yet to be seen after they stormed off hours prior. No member of the rouge ninjas were able to contact them or track them down considering the curse that is slowly killing them.

"They'll be back. Don't worry Princess. " Thunder spoke and hugged the Princess to his chest bringing Storm along.

"I'm just scared. I just got her back. We just got her back and it seems like everyone wants to take her away from us. Aella is our sister. Jacob, what if something happened to her? " Zephyrine said her voice thick with worry.

"Princess... " Thunder, now known as Jacob was cut off after a glare from his sister.

"Okay.. Zeph.. As far as I know Penelope, I think she knows how to stay away from trouble. " Jacob said while hugging his sister and running his hands through her hair. Zephyrine let out a sigh.

"If you say so.. She still hasn't known you're the missing sibling you know? The others too. They'd think you're my boyfriend or something. " Zephyrine stated and then smile wickedly.

"Big brother can't be your boyfriend Zephy, he belongs to my big sister Alice. " Storm sleepily said. Zephyrine couldn't help but giggle at that while Jacob smiled so wide others would think he'd won the lottery.

"Nicely said baby brother. Nicely said, I'll treat you sometime. " Jacob said, laughing afterwards.

"When will my goddess come home anyway? What if something happened? She'd be defenseless. ". Jacob worriedly asked afterwards after a moment of silence. Zephyrine couldn't help but giggle.

"You have faith in Aella yet you don't have faith in Alice. That's funny. They both are members of the most notorious rouge ninjas and as far as I know, Demise was their strategist. She'll be fine. You still have to confess your undying love to your goddess. " Zephyrine just said and proceeded to stand up carrying her little brother along.

"Let's get some sleep. We can't not sleep if we need energy. Let's go lover boy. " She said as she went straight to the living room.

"Guys? Let's catch some snooze before we pass out. We need the energy for later. " She stated and went to find the rooms stated by Jayden.

Everyone was lying on the bed, not really falling asleep yet because of their thoughts but eventually fell asleep after the sun rose.

Jacob was taken out of his sleep induced self when a commotion was happening downstairs. He quickly change into his now clean ninja suit. He noticed that the sky was already dark and concluded he must have slept for a whole day. He fastened his pace when he heard the commotion start to escalate. What he found didn't quite sit well with him. April was apparently shouting as her friends.

"YOU CALL YOURSELVES 'OUR FRIENDS' WHEN IN REALITY, YOU DON'T CARE ABOUT US. APPARENTLY, IF IT'S PENELOPE OR EVEN ALICE THAT IS MISSING, YOU'D GO CRAZY THINKING WHERE THEY ARE. THEY ARE GROWN TEENAGERS! THEY CAN TAKE CARE OF THEMSELVES! " April angrily shouted and was about to leave when she was stopped by a statement from Aliyah.

"They're the youngest out of the 10 of us. " Aliyah stated. April's eyebrow raised.

"Should we always just take care of them then? Should we just also take care of Storm everytime? Because he's  young? Because he's Penelope's brother? Or how about this? Should we always just be worried about people who seems to not be worried about us worrying about them as always then? After all, that's like their role in our lives already. " April stated with venom in her voice.
