Uzukaze Naruto arrived on the outskirts Kumogakure no Sato¹¹⁸ just as he did in Kiri, hunkering down on the side of a large mountain, observing the village built on them for a moment before sending a pulse to Killer B, the Jinchūriki of the Hachibi¹¹⁹, Gyūki, and one to Nii Yugito, the holder of the Nibi¹²⁰, Matatabi.
He sat on the small ledge he was given on the mountainside for a couple of minutes, his back resting against the rough rock was gentle white clouds hovered above him, illuminated underneath by the slowly rising sun. That was one thing about the winters that he liked: the sun rose late and fell early. It was easier to work in the cover of darkness, though he could probably work just as well in the day.
Soon, he felt a slight itching in the area of his tattoo and stood, attaching chakra to his feet so he wouldn't lose his footing and tumble down quite the steep drop. Without so much as another thought, Naruto teleported to Yugito, the one who had sent a pulse back to him. He noted that they were standing on a dock, blue waves crashing into the mountains surrounding them. Looking up, Naruto saw that they were directing underneath the village, some early morning fog hidding them from sight.
Looking to his left, Yugito was standing there in her normal outfit. She wore a short-sleeved black and purple blouse and black pants, both of which had a design similar to clouds on them, purple fingerless gloves and a chain of blue beads wound around her left hand. In addition, she wore the standard Kumo forehead protector, sandals and a kunai holster, which was strapped to her right thigh. Yugito also wore bandages around her arms and legs as well as a red belt around her waist. Her blonde hair was long and straight, bound by taut bandages, her red lipstick greatly contrasting with her dark eyes.
In front of Naruto was Killer B. He wore oval-shaped sunglasses and a white-coloured forehead protector. He also had his village's standard one-strap-over-one-shoulder flak jacket, and a long, red rope belt tied around his waist, the standard Kumo hand and shin guards, shinobi sandals, and a white scarf around his neck. He had seven swords strapped to his back coloured red at the hilts. His skin was dark and his hair, along with his goatee, was white, his top lip a little darker than his bottom one.
His eyes drifted to the tattoo on Killer B's right shoulder, it was a simple kanji for "iron", but it was more than that. It was the Tekko Fūin, the seal used to seal Gyūki into Killer B in the first place. On his left cheek was the tattoo of a bull's horn, which was probably there because Gyūki happened to be partially missing his left horn.
"I'm surprised Raikage-sama let both of you leave, Octopops, Kitty-san," Naruto commented, feeling a little fatigued from all of the teleporting he was doing. He had managed to improve the seal so long-distance jumps like this stopped being as taxing a while back, but this really put them to the test. So far, it was going well.
"Bakayarō! Konoyarō! My Aniki hasn't a clue, there are just some things we must do. Leaving a clone, is something I condone," Killer B rapped, making Naruto chuckle, he enjoyed the raps Killer B would make, unlike most other people. To him, these raps symbolized Killer B's unrestrained and unbroken will to keep on striving to live and grow stronger.
Naruto envied it sometimes, but he would rather that he kept the hand he was dealt, he never wishes for his fellow Jinchūriki to know the true extent of the damage done. Because no one did, not even himself, except for Kurama as he was the one to heal his wounds, no matter how large or small they were. Naruto managed to block out a small portion of his childhood, certain days were missing from his memory, and he doesn't wish to remember in fear of what was so horrible that he, someone who was beaten to the brink of death on many occasions, couldn't handle.
