I felt something strange that night. Something dangerous. I felt as if something was watching me and waiting to pounce at me at any second. I was scared and I didn't know how to feel about it.
I heard someone sneeze and I spun around.
"Nick!?" I gulped and looked into the darkness, the grass was wet beneath my sandals.
I saw a pair of eyes and I felt relief fill me.
"Oh, Nick! I thought you-" I cut off and froze. It wasn't Nick.
A man emerged from the darkness and he began to smile, face splatted in blood.
