After we rushed back to my dad's house I cleaned up and changed into new clothes.
"What were you thinking? Huh? Now a case is going to be open! Agents will be looking for you!" Mariah was yelling. I could hear my dad move around in the living room.
"Lower your voice, Mariah." My voice was thick with anger and warning.
She took a deep breath and began to speak in whispers, "Your an idiot! Killing a guy, a popular, well known man, for the sake of some-"
I shot her another warning look, "Mariah"
"-stupid, black haired Jezebelle!" She finished in a fuss and I stood up.
I saw her cringe, wince almost. I knew my meds were wearing off due to the amount of blur I was seeing as my anger got worse and worse. I couldn't continue to hit her and threaten her anymore or else she may run off. Her eyes were beaded with terror and something inside of me almost felt sympathy for the poor girl.
I sighed, "Let's just get to bed, okay?"
She looked up in surprise, "Okay."
Without another single peep she scurried from the room and I waited for hours until I was sure she was asleep. When I knew she was I grabbed my car keys and made my way outside. I would go see how my Hazel was doing. I was also going to crush that pathetic joke of an ex. I wanted him dead.
I got into my car and started it, backing up and driving to April's house. I parked down the street and watched as Hazel, Nick, and April made there way inside. Jealousy sparked inside of me and I felt my heart begin to pound. I felt every ounce of me yearn to kill. Kill, kill, kill. That's all I heard. Every second the adrenaline pumped through my veins, but eventually I pushed it away and got out of the car with my camera.
I made my way up to the house and when I reached it I looked into the window and saw Hazel and Nick sitting on the couch and April was probably in her bedroom. I watched them talk and talk and finally Nick left to his car. As soon as he left I ran around to April's bedroom window and peeked in carefully. April looked as if she had fallen asleep crying and from what it looked like, Hazel was still awake slightly. I ran to my car and got in, starting it up.
I followed his car and parked a couple cars down from him, watching him get out of his car and make his way up to the porch. He stopped and turned around, scanning the area with cautious eyes. He knew I was there or at least that someone was there. I wasn't going to kill him right now, but I knew something with certainty.
The game was on.
