This looked horrible. The town hall was lit up like a Christmas tree and people were inside talking and making friends. I didn't like it.

We got out and paid our way in, being stopped by someone. There hair was fading and there bright green eyes bored into me.

"Samuel? Samuel Erickson?" The mans voice was familiar.

My old English teacher, "Oh, Mr. Killian."

"Sammy, M'boy!" His British accent was still the same.

I smiled, "How have you been?"

He pushed his hand at me in a non caring motion, "Enough 'bout me, m'boy, how're you?"

"I have been good besides a couple of things."

"Ah, yes, I heard your mum was pretty sick."

"Cancer."

"Sad. She was always a good woman."

Mr. Killian clasped his hand down on my shoulder and smiled, nodding to me and walking away. We made our way around and several times Mariah was complimented for her beautiful dress. I was even complimented as I was recognized. Many people said they missed having me around, but I knew they were lying. They had to be.

A slow song came on and Mariah pulled me to her and I danced with her. I never learned how to dance so I stared down at my feet to make sure I didn't step on hers.

"There are a lot of things you don't know." She smiled up at me.

I shrugged, "Yeah, I wasn't popular in school remember?"

We twirled around for a couple of minutes and the slow song ended, allowing us to clap. I looked around in boredom and I saw a girl. She was wearing the best looking dress in here. It was baby blue, with probably fake diamonds on the torso. Her midnight black hair was pinned back and I smirked. She was pretty from the back.

I noticed another thing. She was showing off her left hand. On it was a ring. Real probably. It was beautifully made and she was showing it off, probably talking happily about it. I made my way to the drinks with Mariah and I saw the blue dressed girl start over with a man by her side. I looked down so I wouldn't be considered rude.

"Excuse me?" The soft voice politely gestured to some drinks in from of me.

I looked up and froze. That midnight curly hair, violet eyes, beautiful soft skin... Hazel. Mariah pressed her foot on mine and I gained my composure.

Hazel smiled as something sparked in her eyes, "Samuel Erickson?"

Nick looked up and I nodded, "Hello."

"I haven't seen you in ages! I heard you had moved?" She picked up a drink.

I felt the back of my head ticking, "Hampton."

Her face froze for a second, "I never noticed. I moved there too. How have you been?"

Something rose inside of me, "Great and you?"

She gave an adoring look up at Nick, "I have been perfect."

I noticed something. Nick and her were exchanging some type of puppy love sick look. They were sharing some type of- my eyes darted down to her hand. The ring. Her left hand. Real diamonds. He had... proposed to her. She said yes. She had left me. I inhaled sharply and stared at her hand.

Her eyes widened and something crossed her face. She was starting at me in a strange way.

"Excuse me." I turned stiffly and waltzed across the room with Mariah, spinning her.

She looked up, "Something wrong?"

I felt myself shaking and I went into the bathroom. It was empty and I went into the biggest stall. Images flashed across my skull and I grabbed my face. Killing a year ago, stalking Hazel, stabbing Joey... I clenched my teeth and tried to shake my mind.

I saw Hazel smiling and her hand reaching out to me, but then reality snapped in and she grabbed my camera to look at the photos I had taken at school.

"Ah." I gasped out. My meds. I didn't take my meds.

Angelina hitting Hazel and laughing angrily. Nick kissed her softly and pulled her fragile body in close. The knife going across Angelina's neck, slicing it. My dad... blood... screams... Kill. Kill. Kill. Kill her. Slice her throat. Drink the blood and feel the pleasure.

I stood up straight and left the bathroom, seeing Nick leaving the town hall for a second and making my way out.
