I stopped before I reached the door and saw Nick on the phone. I couldn't kill him right there, everyone would see. I waited and finally he turned and looked at me. Fear filled his eyes and he hung up his phone, coming inside and going to his friend Percy. His lips moved silently and Percy nodded, walking near me.
Suddenly, he tripped and I sprawled as he hit me. My hands flew out, but it was a feeble attempt to catch myself. I hit my elbows and rolled over quickly, kicking Percy off me with quick feet. He was unprepared.
"Fuck! Seriously, you fucking asshole!" I yelled out.
He grinned, "Sorry, mate."
Around his leg I saw Nick and Hazel running towards big building. Percy stepped to the side and I cursed, standing. I walked off and grabbed Mariah.
"We have to go handle something." I said through gritted teeth.
She looked at me in disbelief, "Your kidding me? You start something? Did you see something that set you off? Fuck you, Samuel!"
I stared at her in shock and felt the images flash across my mind, "Come with me, now."
She pushed me away as I touched her, "Fuck off, Sam."
"I'll-"
"Blow my secret? Hit me? Go ahead, prick, go right ahead. I won't be used anymore. I'll do my time and make sure as hell you do yours too. Go take some damn crazy pills, bastard." She puffed her chest out.
I balled up my fist and saw her chest go down a bit, "Remember that, whore. Remember you'll never be good enough for anyone."
Her eyes widened and she stepped aside as I raced out the front door of the town hall and went around, racing towards the way Hazel and Nick went. There were two buildings and it wasn't hard to see which one they went into. The door to the old swim center was cracked. They weren't very smart now were they.
I went inside and heard scuffling inside the pool area, Hazel's heels. I walked straight to there and burst the door open, looking around. The pool center was dirty, old, and musty. The water was thickly black and plants seemed to be feeding off it. The whole place was dark and the perfect place to commit a murder tonight.
I heard someone clear there throat and I looked over and saw Nick standing there. I raced at him, but he dodged me. I cursed and dived for him, catching him around the legs, knocking him back. He grunted and I got on top of him and grabbed his face as he tried to compose himself.
"Hello, Nicholas. We finally speak again." I whispered close to his face.
He spat in my face, "Fuck you, creep!"
An image of my years being bullied flashed across my mind and I felt my hand hit his jaw before I knew I swung it. I was still swinging before I could stop myself and soon I pulled a knife out of my belt, but he took the chancea and swung me off of him. I hit the floor and he was running. I stood and raced after him, clearly faster. With my lightweight it wasn't hard to catch up and I crashed into him, slamming him into the wall.
His head crashed into the wall and blood smeared it. I stabbed the knife out quickly and skimmed his side, getting enough of him to make he suck in a shocked breath. He shot his elbow back and I caught it, bringing it into myself quickly and then slamming it down, hearing it crack. He screamed out and I raised the knife. A force hit me in the head and I fell over, my head spinning.
I looked up and saw Hazel with a shoe in her hands, blood on the end.
