You Took Me In As One

Chapter 16

It was almost time for the party and I was down stairs helping Stormie with the snacks while the others were getting ready.

I was cutting up the last pieces of cucumber and Stormie was pouring the ranch dip.

" So what do you think about the tour?" She asked. I shrugged. " I'm happy, but what about school?"

" We have a touter that comes with us. And all of us can help you with what ever you need." She put away the ranch and cut up some carrots.

" Okay. Thank you." I walk out to the backyard and set the food down on the table. Stormie comes out with another tray and sets it down. " Your welcome." She replies.

A few minutes after everyone started to show up. Everyone was out back eating the veggies while I sat with my feet in the pool alone. I was trying to find Ross and his girlfriend, but I couldn't spot him anywhere.

My phone beeped and I pulled it out. It was a message from Alex asking me what I was doing. I told him about the party and I told him to come over.

He agreed. I asked Stormie if he could come over and she said yes. I walked into the house needing to use the bathroom.

I ran into the living room stoping dead in my tracks. A girl, on top of Ross, in a full blown make out session.

They pulled back after what seemed like forever, and I still stood there. " I love you." Ross pecked her lips and she smiled. " I love you too."

I walked back slowly, but ended up bumping into a table. Ross looked over my way and smiled. The girl looked over as we'll. she looked really familiar.

She climbed off Ross and sat beside him. " Jordan, this is Laura. Laura this is my little sister Jordan."

Laura! Laura Maruno! That's why she looked familiar, my friend use to adore her! She had like 100 posters of her in her room.

" Uh.. Hi." Laura gave me a dirty look. I just met her and I already don't like her. There's something about her.

The door bell rang and I quickly went to answer it. I opened it and was greeted
With a hug by Alex.

" Come on in." I step out of the way so he could come in. " Wanna go down stairs?" I ask him. He nodded his head and followed me upstairs.

" So what's this party for?" He asked laying down beside me. " There going on tour. There in a band called R5." I explain.

" Ah. I see." We sat in silence until I asked if he wanted to go swimming. He agreed so now we were making our way down to the pool. Alex runs off the diving board and does a back flip.

I ran off of it and did a swan dive. I swam up to Alex and we were chest to chest. He smiled down at me, he was at least 1 foot taller than me. I smiled back and looked right into his beautiful eyes.

He started to lean in. I really didn't know what to do, if I kiss him, it would be my first kiss. He came close, then he gently placed his lips on mine. It lasted about 5 seconds, but it felt like forever.

He pulled back and I smiled. I looked around and I'm pretty sure no one noticed, we'll I think Ross did because he was looking a little confused right now.

" Wanna go get changed and go for a walk?" He asked. I turn around and nod "I'd like that idea."

We both get out and run up the stairs. He walked into my bathroom to change while I changed in my room. I changed into black skinny jeans, a red plaid shirt, white under shirt and black converses. ( Outfit on the top)

" Ready?" He asked as I walk to the front door. I smile in response. We walked to the skate park and he stopped walking.

" Jordan" he paused. " I have to ask you something."
