You Took Me In As One

Chapter 15

Right now I was in the bathroom with Stormie and Ross cleaning up my road rash and telling them what had happened, but left out the part about Alex. I don't really get why Ross is here. I guess he was her to make sure I was okay.

" Okay, this. Ought sting a little bit." Stormie warned as she put on some gel to help the healing.

Right as it hit my skin I closed my eyes and bit my bottom lip. Man it stings. I started to squirm around. Trying to get the pain to stop, but I don't know how it would help.

" Please stop moving. I need to put the bandage on." She grabbed the bandage and started to put it on. Ross had to hold me still in the middle because I kept moving.

By the time we were done, I had tears pooled in my eyes. Stormie walked out leaving Ross and I in the bathroom. I got up and washed my face and hands.

I walked out and into my room. Ross didn't follow; shocker.

I was just about to lay down when my phone beeped from the other side of the room. I groaned and went to get it.

I looked down and the name and smiled. Alex.

What's up?

Me:
Just laying in my bed. Bored. How 'bout you?

Alex:
Sounds fun! Haha. And doing homework.

Damn, I was I was you.

" Jordan, dinner's ready!" Rydel called from outside the door. " Kay! Be down in a minute! Thank you!"

I sent Alex a text saying I had to go. I walked to the door and Rydel was still standing there. She smiled at me and I smiled back. I followed her to the table and sat between Ross and Ellington.

I got handed my plate and started to make my taco. I sat back down and watched as Ellington went to take a bit of his and it all came out the bottom onto his pants.

Everyone burst end into a fit of laughter while Ratliff was pouting. I looked over at Ross to see him with sour cream on his right cheek.

" What's with you boys and being so messy?" I wipe his check with a napkin and set it I front of him. That caused everyone to start laughing agin.

" Okay, okay. That's enough." Stormie said trying to stop her laughter. " We have some news." Stormie started.

" Please tell me it's not a new sibling." Rocky groaned. It kinda hurt. He probably didn't like the idea of someone being thrown into his family.

" Nope." She said still smiling. She looked at her husband and he nodded. What Is happening?

" We're going on tour!" She clapped her hands together as everyone but me, had the jaws dropped.

" In 2 weeks." She added. Everyone started cheering and laughing talking about how excited there are. I just sat out of the conversations, because really, I didn't know what to do.

" How long is the tour! And where are we going?" Ross asked eagerly. Stormie laughed at her son. " 3 months. And the east cost!"

Now it was my turn for my jaw to drop. 3 months? In two weeks I will be leaving for 3 months. But I just started school. I'm going to miss 3 moths of school.

" Can we have a party tonight? Not like a party party, but like to celebrate the tour Since it's Friday?" Riker begged. Stormie laughed and nodded her head.

They all started to cheer as the took out there phones to text friends to come over.

I took a quick glance at Ross' phone to see him type. ' Hey babe. Party tonight. You coming?'

He looked up and I quickly looked away. Ross has a girlfriend? Who is she? I took another glance at his phone.

She replied with ' Sure babe. Can't wait to see you! Love you!'

We'll tonight should be interesting.
