You Took Me In As One

Chapter 32

" Why are you doing this?" I cried as he tied my arms behind my back. " 'Cause it's fun." He laughed. I've been here for three days now, and it's been hell.

" Please, just let me go! I won't say anything!" He smirked. " Oh 'cause I haven't heard that one before."

He bent down and he was close to my elbow. I got an idea. As he started to stand up, elbowed him in the face. " Ow, fuck." He said as he dropped to the floor holding his nose. I frantically looked around, i saw a window and ran towards it. I broke the glass with my elbow and cut it up pretty badly.

I crawled through the window backs words, but I couldn't get up. " Help!" I screamed.
" Help!" I struggled to get up. The door of the house opened and someone came and through me over their shoulder.

" No! Put me down!" I started thrashing. I heard a car door open and I was thrown into it. He put tape over my mouth and then shut the door. The driver took off. Multiple Sirens filled my ears.

Were we in a cop chase? Half a hour later sirens were still all around. " Oh shit!" The driver yelled. Next thing I new we were upside down then everything went black.

I woke up sometime later, and couldn't remember what happened. My head was pounding and I'm pretty sure I'm bleeding. The window beside me was smashed, so I kicked it making it brake more.

I was crying by the point. As I got out, very slowly, no one was around and we were down a very steep hill.

Where am I? I looked in to see no one in the front seat. " Help!" My voice is so horas.

It was no use of screaming, so I started to climb up. I guess somehow from falling off that cliff, my hands have been untied.

Both of my arms are bleeding, my head was bleeding and my legs were too. I made my way up and we were on what looks like a back road. Great, I bet no one comes back here. I sighed. I started walking, and I just noticed that it was dark out.

My venison started to blur up and bright lights were shinning in front of me.

I woke up from an annoying beeping sound. I groaned and turned to the side.
" Jordan." Someone whispered.

" Jordan." They said again. " Yes?" I opened my eyes to see someone who I would've not expected there.

" Ross?" He smiled widely at me. " You're awake!" He ran out leavening me confused. He came back with a doctor, stormie and mark. " You're awake!" Stormie cheered running over to me and giving me a hug.

" Yeah, I am... But what happened?" She pulled back and looked over at the doctor.
" You don't remember anything?" He asked. I shook my head. " Well, a couple days ago, you kidnaped, then you ended up on a road, then you were hit by a car." I honestly couldn't believe what he was telling me.

Tears surfaced my eyes. " Did you catch the guy?" I asked referring to my kidnapper.
" Unfortunately no, because you don't remember, we don't know who it was."

I nodded my head slowly. The doctor checked my machines and made sure everything was okay and working.

" When can I get out?" I asked. Stormie and mark looked over at him too. " About 7 o'clock, we still need to make sure you're okay." He said. Then something came to me.

" How long have I been here?" I asked Ross. " two days ago." He whispered. Stormie announced that she was going to get the rest of the family, mark went with her.

It was quite, I was playing with my fingers until Ross spoke. " Look, Jordan. I'm sorry for the way I've been acting. I know how close we use to be and everything," he was looking down.

I sighed. " It's wasn't your fault you lost your memory." To be honest, I really miss being close to Ross. He was the only one I was actually comfortable with, and he never judged me. Yeah neither did the others, but still. He was like the brother I've never had, we he use to be.

Riker came in making me feel a little better. Since Ross has been distant, I get along with Riker the best.

" Hey jordypoo." I giggled at the nick he had given me. " I'd prefer Rosie or jordy." I looked over at Ross to see him smiling to himself. Jordy was the nickname he gave me.
Rydel calls me Rosie sometimes because my last name was rose, and because it starts with the letter 'R'

" Whatever. How ya feeling?" He asked. " I could be better, but I could also be worse, so I guess fine? Except my arm and head hurts a lot." He nodded.

" I'm sorry that this had to happen to you." He took a seat beside Ross. His phone starting going off.

" Hey Laura." He said. " I'm with my family at the hospital," he was about to speak again but she cut him off. " Jordan's in the hospital." He mumbled. He looks pretty pissed right now. I wonder what she's saying?

" Sorry Laura, but right now, family is more important." He said then hung up. " Did you really mean that?" I whispered. " That I'm family?"

He nodded. " Jordan, you're family, you might not be by blood, but you're still family."

" We love you so much." Riker added. I smiled. " Thanks guys, that means a lot. You're like the big brothers I've never had, but always wanted." They smiled widely.

" You're welcome sis." They spoke together.

For a while, the rest of the family hung around in my room, doctors coming and going. We ended up ordering pizza. The boys wanted to play the xbox that was in here, so the started a rough game of COD Ghost. Rydel convinced me to let her do my nails, so she was beside me doing that, mark and stormie having a conversation with the doctors and the boys were screaming at the TV.

" Were allowed to go." Mark announced. I was set free from on the wires and changed into other clothes that Rydel had brought. Basketball shorts and a r5 tee shirt. If you couldn't tell, I was one of those tomboys, but still acted like a girl, kinda just like Rydel.

We went home and I still didn't feel that great so I went and laid down. Kidnaped, hit by a car, really? Why would someone do that? Who would want to kidnap me, and how do they even know me? Maybe it was just one of those random kidnaps.

I started to play music off my phone through my Bluetooth speakers. Why does all of this have to happen to me? I'm just a kid and have been through so much. I got up and climbed out my window and sat on the roof, music playing from inside of my room.

I looked up at the dark sky filled with little shinning stars. " I wish you were still here." I whispered into the darkness.
