You Took Me In As One

Chapter 24

I quickly slapped my hand over my eyes as I stumbled back out the door. As soon as I was safe, I took my hand away. " It looks like you just seen a ghost." Riker laughed as he walked over to me.

" I wish I did." I was so Disgusted. Ross was on top of Laura, both shirts off, and lips locked. " Anyways, where's Rydel?" I asked. He pointed to the girls washroom. I thanked him and walked in.

" What's up?" I jumped onto the sink. " Can you help me curl my hair? I still need to do my make up." I nodded and hoped off and grabbed the straighter. " So why are you doing this is here and not in the dressing room?" I asked.

" Cause of Ross and Laura." I nod. I soon finish up her hair, just in time too because the meet and greet is in a few minutes.

I was selling merch with Ryland like always. After the meet and greet it was time for sound check.

Most of the questions were the same, but one caught my attention. " Who is that girl that is always with you guys?" A girl from the front row asked.

They all just looked at each other, then looked at stormie and mark for support. I seen mark give them a nod. " Umm. Jordan can you come out here for a sec?" Ross asked. I looked over at stormie and she gave me a reassuring smile.

I slowly made my way out on stage, I stood in between Ross and Riker. " So, we've something to tell you guys." Riker started. " This is Jordan, and she's our sister. We took her in a few months ago. " Ross finished.

There were a lot, of gasps throughout the crowd. I stood there so awkwardly not knowing what to do. I didn't want to make a fool of my self so I just walked back off the stage.

" They took it better then I thought." Ryland said as I sat down beside him. " You never know." I shrug.

Ryland and I talked for the rest on the Sound Check. We just talked about the basic stuff. " Where's Laura?" Ross asked. Ryland pointed to the door, " She said she went to get food." Ross nodded and pulled out his phone.

My phone soon went off too. 'Come up to the front, it's important.' It was from Nash. I sent back ' Okay.' I told Ryland where I was going and left.

" What's so important?" I asked as I approached Nash. He pointed to the table where I slipped early. Laura was talking, no not talking, flirting with a guy.

She whispered something into his ear and he smirked. Nash and I watched carefully as the guy slipped her a piece of paper. She smirked and walked off.

" Um.. What was that?" I watch as she walked into the hallway to the dressing room.
" I really hope it's not what I think it is." I reply. " Listen, I gotta go. Talk to you soon." I run back to the room.

Laura is sitting on Ross' lap. If only he knew what she was doing a few moments before. I walk over and sit next to Riker since that's the only spot open. " Hey kid." He lightly pushed my shoulder.

" Hey rik." He locked his phone and looked at Me. " Where did you go. Few minutes ago?" He asked. I don't know if I should tell him, but it might help. " Um.. I think Laura is cheating on Ross." I whisper quietly because the happy couple is a few feet away.

" What?" He whispered back. I nodded my head. " She was flirting with a guy out front, then he handed her a piece of paper." I inform him. He glares over at her. " I knew there was something wrong about her." He mumbled.

" What should we do?" I asked. " We should just wait a see what happens." I don't know if that's a good idea, because in the end, someone's going to get hurt.

" Show time!" Mark called. Everyone got up and made there way to the stage. As the show went on, I watched as Laura was glued to her phone. Ryland noticed too. But he didn't bother to ask.

I just really hope it doesn't turn out how I think it will. After the show, we went out for dinner. We went to a Chinese place. It was by the water and had a pretty view. As we were making are way back too the bus, I heard yelling.

" Who is it?" Ross yelled. He must have found out. " It's just my cousin, Ross!" Laura yelled back. Ross stormed off to the bus. Riker was glaring at Laura as we all hop on.

Ross went into the back as Laura stayed in the front. Everyone else went to their bunks to get some rest.

I started at her as she is still on her phone. She looked up and I quickly looked away.
" What are you looking at?" She rudely asked. " Nothing." I mumble.

" You know I'm on to you." I say as I turn back around. " Excuse me?" She finally put down her phone and crossed her arms. " I may not be a teen, but I'm not stupid." She rolled her eyes.

" What's that suppose to mean?" I laughed. " It means I know about you cheating on Ross." She just scoffed. " Oh please, like you know anything."

" Oh, I know a lot." And with that, I got up and left.
