Chapter 4: Shelia Sanin
I'm getting uncomfortable whenever she smile. Hindi ko alam kung bakit. Probably because I only saw it for a few times?
"You're quite rare in CBP," aniya na kumuha sa aking atensiyon.
"I've only met a couple of people that thinks like you in here," sambit niya. Lumapit siya sa akin. "Here, have a drink."
I licked my lips before I spoke,
"Ahh... so you're gonna tell me some of the dark side of CBP," biro ko sa kaniya ngunit sineryoso ko ito.
"All companies have their darkest secrets," maikli niyang sagot.
I turned to her and stared like a badass gangster.
"So why am I rare, Ms. Sanin?"
She glanced at me and drank the liquor until it was empty.
Pinunasan niya pa ang kaniyang bibig bago mag salita. Her lips looks like it's so soft. It's probably perfect for... Tumikhim ako. Nevermind.
"You entered CBP thinking that you will own your works so you signed up, not everyone in here thinks like that."
Kumunot ang noo ko. "And what makes me rare because of that feat?" I asked in a husky voice and she smiled upon hearing that.
"Well, because some of the writers of CBP write only for money and fame. They didn't even bother to protest when we decided that the company will own their works and not only that, they don't care about their plots and ideas," aniya na nagsimulang mahina ang pagkakasabi hanggang sa lumakas nang lumakas.
"I'm guessing that they kept on repeating their cliche plots so I, along with the few people here are rare?"
"Apparently yes."
I smiled at her pero tinaasan niya lang ako ng kilay.
"I'm starting to like you," sambit ko sa kaniya dahilan para mamula ito at mawala ang matamis na ngiti sa kaniyang labi.
"That's like the most unexpected words that I've ever heard from you, I'm not kidding."
"It's not like what you think, I mean I didn't say it in a romantic way, I'm starting to like you as a person or a friend, I admire your humanity and that's all," I explained in a very defensive tone and like her, I'm starting to blush due to shyness.
Even her laugh is uncomfortable...
"Binibiro lang kita, things need to cool off first, napakaseryoso mo na kasi," aniya at parang nawala bigla ang bigat ng problema at kahihiyan na nanalantay sa katawan ko kanina.
Pero... Teka!
"Ha?
