Part 12

"Shelby I don't want to be here."

We were both stood on Scarlets driveway at a little past 6pm. Kendall's car was already parked up.

"Then why say you'd love to?" She questioned me as we walked slowly up the stone path.

"I don't know. For Chase."

"Why?" Shelby pulled me to a hault at the door and turned me to look at her, "Did something happen?" She scanned my face as I was trying so hard not to give anything away. But her face said it all. Shelbys eyes grew wider and her mouth fell open, "Oh my god it did!" She shout-whispered, "tell me!"

"He stopped over a few nights ago." I gave in. If I couldn't tell Shelby I couldn't tell anyone, and it was eating me up inside.

"As in slept over slept over?" She questioned, and I nodded. Her jaw fell again as the door opened.

"I thought I heard voices! Come in!" Scarlets beaming face welcomed us in as she moved out the way of the door to let us both in.

The entrance was rather grand; a marble looking staircase followed the right wall and back wall up creating a sweeping look and a gorgeous balcony. It looked like something from a palace!

"We're upstairs already. Pizza is on its way." Scarlet motioned us to follow her upstairs as she spoke.

"Oh how much we-" I started to speak but Scarlet cut me off.

"No Kylie, you're my guests. I've brought it. You enjoy it." She continued up the stairs and entered the first door on the right, her bedroom.

Again, just as grand. A huge four poster bed, fur rug (or fake fur...I dunno), bright white vanity with lights round the mirror And covered in so many different make up products. Kendall was sitting on the bed, cross legged, in her PJs already and to the other side of the bed I could see some roll out beds.

"Hey guys." Kendall waved as Scarlett shut the door behind us.

We waved back and Scarlet showed us to her bathroom. Shelby and I walked in and changed into our PJs before coming back out and joining Kendall on the bed. I finally saw the TV, on the wall. It was huge! Scarlett threw some DVDs our way as the bell rang signalling pizza had arrived. She let us sifting through the films.

"So spill! You have like 2 minutes" Shelby said quickly as she put her DVDs down.

"What's this about?" Asked Kendall, getting interested in the conversation.

"Chase slept over" Shelby winked to her before turning back to me.

"Kylie! He's dating -"

"The girl who's bedroom I'm in I know!" I whispered rather annoyed at the two of them. "It just happened. He said he missed me and that he loved me and then we kissed and -" I shrugged.

"Are you gonna tell her?" Kendall asked as we heard footsteps

"God no!" I shouted.

"God no, what?" Scarlet asked as she came in with five pizzas.

"God no...." I paused as I looked round, "to Grease. I mean, no musicals." I picked up the DVD before throwing it, carefully of course, on the floor.

"No musicals? But musicals are amazing!" Scarlet set the pizzas down and opened a couple up for us to take a slice. "And grease is wow! Look at me I'm Sandra Dee" she sang in Rizzos voice.

"Lousy with virginity" Shelby joined in giggling before looking over to me. I stared at her and her giggle stopped, "Yeah I'm not feeling it. Maybe, legally blonde?"

"Or Mean Girls!" Kendall helps the DVD up with a smile, "I love this movie!"

"Same! But that Regina is horrible! Stealing the guy Cady liked. Not very girl code." Scarlet took a bite of pizza.

I had looked over to it but suddenly did not feel hungry. "But if Regina liked him too then she had the right." I mumbled.

"But she didn't!" Kendall shouted and looked over to me.

She finally read my face. I was feeling like Regina. I felt like I was stealing Chase off Scarlet. But I still liked him, so shouldn't I give him the option? "I mean, if Aaron actually liked Cady then he wouldn't go with Regina. Right?"

"I guess but isn't it that Cady just never told him how she felt at first? Why he was so oblivious?" Scarlet asked.

"Yeah well boys are not dumb! I'm sure they can tell when a girl likes them and when they don't so I'm sorry but I'm on Reginas side." I crossed my arms over my chest after my little outburst. I looked round at the girls shocked faces, "I need to pee." I said suddenly and jumped up to the bathroom.

I sat on the toilet, lid down, with head in my hands. Pull yourself together!!! I breathed deeply as I regained composure. There was a burning sensation in my pocket so I went in and took out the Fire Sphere.

It shone bright red and swirled with gold shimmer. It was red hot but I could hold it. Why? As I watched the streams of red and gold dance in the air, my breathing calmed and my breathing did too. As they did, the streams lessened and the Sphere went back to normal.

"Hey Kylie! We're playing truth or dare!"
