"What makes you think I want that?"

"I saw you looking at it before." He quickly shut his hand again before jumping up to his feet, "Plus, word travels fast that a brunette girl is sticking her nose in where it shouldn't be."

"How do you know it's me?"

"Because the whispering started just as you came back on the scene."

I sighed as I followed his hands waving in he air as he spoke. It was RIGHT THERE! But there was no way I could get it off him here. I'm not a Ranger. And I'd wake my mum up if I started thumping him...

"I'm not getting you an energem" I whispered

"It's just one. I won't ask you for anything ever again. I wont bother you ever again." he stood behind me and whispered in my ear, "Unless, you want me to bother you? Do you like getting kidnapped?" I could feel his breath and the smirk against my neck.

"Please leave my room" I whispered with little to no strength behind it. And Heckyl could tell.

He wrapped an arm round my waist and moved the other, which the Sphere was in, in front of my face, holding the Sphere between his thumb and finger. He pulled me closer to him, my back pressed against his body, "Are you sure you want me to go? You sure you don't even want to discuss getting this stone?"

"Sphere" I corrected him quickly

"Told you it was you asking question." He whispered triumphantly, making the hairs on the back of my neck stand on end.

Even though he was evil, I still had a soft spot for him. I'm not sure why. Was it the "bad boy" image that every girl likes? That blue streak in his hair that made him stand out and different from the rest? Or was it the fact that he made me laugh and feel safe when we were first seeing each other? There was something different with him. Something that maybe he never showed anyone else, but he let me in a little. He was vulnerable for a moment, and I don't think he liked it. May be why he kept kidnapping me.

"I couldn't go against my friends" I stood my ground; I couldn't hurt my friends like that.

"What about the ex? The one that hurt you. The one that moved on. And when you came back, he kept you on the hook. Making you think something could happen again, and he went running back to her."

I could feel my blood boiling under my skin. Chase had hurt me. He kept stringing me along but when he had the choice, he chose her. Every. Time.

Tears stung my eyes before I blinked them away and replied, "OK. Let's discuss."
