➳ Alaina's POV

After I hung out with David yesterday I went home and just rested for the rest of the day.

It was really fun catching up with David. We ate and then afterward we just walked around the city talking. We talked about everything that happened since we last seen each other. Well, he talked and I listened. I didn't want ot mention the crash or anything. It would just be awkward.

He said something really weird yesterday. He said, "Remember in year ten? I feel really bad about what happened with Madison. I regret it every single day that goes by. I miss you Alaina.."

I really wasn't sure what to say because I had know idea what he was even talking about. I decided to play along and tell him that I forgot about it and it wasn't that big of a deal, but honestly, it was a big deal. I really want to know what happened, would Luke know since we were apparently really close?

I'll just go over sometime tomorrow and ask what happened.

➳ Luke's POV

Once I got home yesterday I was still thinking about Alaina and that David dude she told me about. I still didn't remember who he was so I decided to see if I could find him in any of the year books.

I had to just search for the name David since Alaina only told me his first name.

After about twenty minutes of looking and marking the different pages that had a boy named David, I managed to find like thirteen different Davids out of all the students at our school.

I could narrow the thirteen different Davids down to Alaina's taste or who I think her taste would be.

I'm making no sense, but oh well. I'm just narrowing down the Davids I know Alaina wouldn't go on a date with.

I narrowed all the Davids down to three specific Davids.

David Kinsole.

David Frugent.

David Robinson.

David Kinsole was a blonde boy who was about three years younger than me and Alaina, he couldn't be the one.

David Frugent was some ginger who loved to speak in Shakespearean language, he couldn't be the right David.

Then there was David Robinson, the star football player. Now that I take an actual look at the picture he looks quite famaliar.

Maybe he's the right one?

I decided to send Alaina a quick text. I didn't want to come out and ask if David Robinson was who she was meeting. Maybe I should just text someone else about it.

Maybe Calum?

As soon as I went to text Calum I saw that I already had a text from Michael.

JUST SAW ALAINA WITH DAVID, ARE THEY DATING AGAIN?

What? Again? Did she date a David before? Now that I think about it I think she did.

And he was in one of my classes two years ago, that means that the boy has to be David Robinson.
