➳ Luke's POV

Alaina was walking. She was ahead of me. The wind blew around us. She turned looking at me, laughing.

Such a beautiful girl, in such a beautiful world.

The leaves flew around her within the air. The autumn smell was everywhere. Alaina's scent drifted in the air and flew into my nostrils.

Alaina twirled around, head tilted back. Her laugh was so joyful.

She made me feel so free.

Alaina just drifted through the park. The park seems to be where we always end up. She ran through the trees and peeked around them.

I watched the happiness fill her beautiful round eyes.

Her dark hair flowed behind as she ran throughout the woods.

She was heading to the treehouse.

She got to the treehouse and looked back at me.

She was laughing. She was happy. She was joy. She was free.

She was Alaina.

Her laughed echoed throughout the forest of trees.

The echo got quieter and quieter, slowly disappearing.

I looked up at the sky.

The clouds darkened. The ground shook.

I looked back towards Alaina to see that it was no longer her echo disappearing, but herself.

She was fading. I yelled out to her.

"Alaina!" My voice echoed.

Alaina kept fading.

And kept fading.

She kept fading till she was gone.

In Alaina's place something else appeared.
