Jimin's trepidation grew as he was pulled away from his brothers and taken back into the building, but he wasn't returned to their cell. Instead, he was taken in a different, but no less confusing direction and pushed into what looked like a luxury bedroom. His breath was coming so fast he wondered if he would pass out as he looked around the room for some kind of escape, but found none.

Jimin was shocked when the guard ordered him in Korean to go into the bathroom, take a shower and put on the clothes that would be laid out for him. The guard also told him that he would have fifteen minutes to do this and if he disobeyed... The threat was left unsaid but Jimin knew from his experiences here just how much weight that threat could hold. Jimin was screwed and he knew it. This newcomer seemed to play a better game than the people who had kidnapped them - seemed intent on pushing their limits. Jimin had known from the moment their eyes met that the man who held him captive now was dangerous and that if he did not comply, he would pay dearly. And that was okay. He would take the punishment if it meant that his brothers - his lover - would be okay. He knew they were all men, all capable of protecting themselves; his need to protect wasn't about feeling like he was most equipped to do so. He just loved them, all of them, in so many different ways. The thought of any of them being hurt, being damaged further in this hell, made him sick. He didn't want them to suffer. He didn't want to see Namjoon's demeanor shift again, didn't want to see Yoongi grow any more primal than he already was. Jimin tried but failed to keep his mind off of Jungkook. His sweet lover; Jimin had left him without saying the words he so desperately needed to hear.

'I am with you, always.'

Jimin heard his brothers yelling as he had been whisked away. Had heard Jungkook fight and fall silent; Taehyung yelling for these monsters to bring Jimin back, to give him back to them. Jimin envisioned them fighting against the guards to get to him, and it made his heart hurt. He couldn't stand the thought of Jungkook squaring off with the guards or Taehyung hurting himself to protect him and he knew very well that either scenario might have happened, especially when it had been Taehyung who had kept Jungkook safe. He knew how strong his lover was. He understood how determined, stubborn even, his best friend could be, and he knew that nothing and no one would stop them from trying to help the people most important to them. All of his brothers had been that way.

But now Jimin sat consumed with worry. Had they hurt Jungkook and Taehyung after taking Jimin away? Jimin was as afraid of the question as he was the answer.

Jimin was prepared to sacrifice himself for his family. He didn't want to think about what that truly meant... he just knew that come what may, he would be able to shoulder it. He had to. Jimin had too much to lose.

He could feel his muscles tense as he showered, getting ready for the next chapter of his life. His last chapter? No. He couldn't let that happen. He had to take a chance, had to do something to try to change what was happening to them. He had to try. Jimin thought about the new man, this Sven who had chosen him, weighing his options. He was taller - that much was true, but he was thin. He was toned, sure, but smaller than Jimin. Jimin had put in work at the gym and knew how to use his strength. He had been a contemporary dancer for years before joining Bangtan - his thighs were muscular and strong. He had hit the bag before, knew his way around a ring. Truth be told, he had been in his share of fights in his life - being the smartest kid in his grade and a contemporary dancer at the same time didn't always play well with people his age - so he knew what to do with his hands. Jimin didn't like to show that side of himself - didn't like to come off as aggressive, except when he was playing around with Hoseok in their dorm room, often letting his hyung win, or when Jungkook thought he could best him when he was feeling feisty. He used to let Jungkook throw him down, slam him on the bed and pin him, used to let him think he had the upper hand and then Jimin would flip him over onto his back, cage him between his thighs, pin his hands over his head as the sound of heavy breathing filled the room...
