Mathan had made quickwork of administering the drugs and resetting Taehyung's jaw, using his thumbsto pop it back into place and wrapping a bandage around his face to stabilizeit until the boy woke. Instructing histwo helpers to bang on the door if they needed him for anything, Mathanreturned to his hole in the control room to once again monitor news, fan-sites,the boys, the new guards, and anything else that came to mind.

When Taehyung started torouse, Mathan made his way to the room, once again enlisting his helpers to siton either side of their brother as he came to so they could keep him calm andtranslate for him as he spoke. At first, Taehyung was very groggy, layingthere and blinking his eyes as everything came back to him at which time hetried to sit up, almost screaming out in pain but remembering to keep silentfor fear that the monster would return and finish him off.

Jin checked to make sure the others were still asleep as he and Namjoon moved to help the nameless guard with Taehyung. Hoseok and Jimin had Jungkook wrapped between them but he could see that their maknae was in the throes of a nightmare. Pausing by the bed, Jin swept his fingers through Jungkook's dark hair and leaning over Hoseok's sleeping form, he pressed a soft kiss on the young man's forehead, whispering, "Shhh, brother. You are safe now. We have you. Always."
He watched Jungkook settle into a deeper sleep and snuggle into Jimin's arms all the while hating himself for the lie that fell from his lips. Shaking away the tears that threatened to fall, Jin moved to the nameless guard's side watching everything he did. As Taehyung began to show signs of waking both he and Namjoon placed gentle hands on their dongsaeng to keep him still.
The silent scream that Taehyung let out worried Jin. He had not spoken since before that monster had attacked Jungkook and Jin feared now that some permanent damage might have been done. He struggled to keep this fear from showing as he tried to calm Taehyung.
Namjoon became truly frightened when Taehyungfocused on the man standing at the end of the bed and started to thrash around,even striking Jin in the face with his un-bandaged hand. It looked as ifTaehyung were repeating the word 'no'over and over again, yet he made no sound.

The moment that Taehyung opened his eyes and got a clear look at the man standing at his feet, he was overwhelmed with terror as those threatening words repeated in his mind. It didn't matter that the man's face was different from the one in his nightmares, or that he wasn't wearing an expressionless mask, just that it wasn't the face of his brothers.
