Not caring how late it was, Mathan made his way to his father's quarters.

As expected, Dorian was not sleeping, but what surprised Mathan was finding the man watching concert footage of Bangtan Sonyeondan. His eyes never left the screen as he spoke.

"They really are quite talented, aren't they? That large stadium and all those fans held enthralled. I have no doubt that their company would pay anything we asked for them. Of course, this is after we reveal that the boys have risen from the dead."

"You-- What?" Mathan asked in stunned disbelief. "You sold them to Sven. You mean to tell me that you are still planning on their resurrection and ransom?" Mathan couldn't stop the incredulous laughter that bubbled up from his throat. "Do you really think that you can double-cross Sven and not come out bloody? He will gut you and make you pull out your own fucking intestines."

"My dear son, leave Sven to me. Like everyone, he has a weakness and I happen to know what that is. It wouldn't be the first time my dear son-in-law has...misplaced...something of extreme value," Dorian said with a greasy smile. "We will collect two paydays for one set of boys and have more money than we know what to do with when this is over," Dorian said as he paused the DVD and turned to look at Mathan.

Mathan had a hard time wrapping his mind around the idiocy of this so-called plan of his father's. A man like Sven was not someone you double-crossed, ever. He had personally seen the aftermath of those who thought that they were smart enough to do it and get away. There were some things that once seen, could never be unseen and the image of what Sven's anger could look like was burned into his mind. But for now he would leave Dorian to his delusions. Mathan had his own plans and he needed to put them into action.

"Whatever," Mathan said with an annoyed roll of his eyes. "I'll leave Sven to you. I have a bigger problem. Those boys are dying. They're not going to live long enough for you to collect any money. None of them are eating properly, they aren't getting any kind of exercise, and thanks to your cold room stunt, one of them is sick, and I mean deathly sick. I'd be surprised if he lasts the week, honestly."

Dorian didn't say anything for a few minutes as he contemplated his response.

"Sven has taken over his property's nutrition," he said dismissively. "He wants to make sure that all of them are eating well. I guess he wants to pretty them up for sale...make sure their health is as it should be. He is having food brought in for them to prepare."

Mathan couldn't help the snort of disgust he let loose at how unconcerned his father seemed to be.

"What kind of exercise are you thinking they need?" Dorian asked as he sat back in his chair.

"They need fresh air," Mathan said. "A little bit of sun. Being cooped up in that room isn't doing them any good. They need somewhere they can use their muscles or soon they won't even be able to move. I wouldn't be surprised if the majority of them aren't suffering some form of atrophy."
