The details were still hazy, and in their grief riddled minds, none of the remaining members of Bangtan Sonyeondan had been able to tell law enforcement officials exactly what had transpired.
Everything had happened so quickly it seemed, even as time slowed to a painful crawl.
All they could remember with certainty was the sound of a gun going off.
Yoongi's face contorting in pain.
Taehyung holding a dented pipe.
Their attacker falling to the ground in a bloody pile.
Jungkook collapsed to the ground screaming that the bullet had been meant for him.
And even now two of their number remained in the States - clinging to life in the intensive care unit of UK Hospital where the boys had been taken after their escape - too weak to be moved.
Managers and law enforcement alike stood watch over the young men as the remaining four members returned home to put their brother in the ground, knowing that when one of them awoke, his very worst nightmare would begin.
