Third Person POV
Iris woke up cuddled next to Xavier. She smiled looking at his perfect messy hair and parted lips. He looked so innocent when he was asleep.
She thought to herself, this seems like a fairytale, nothing like this actually happens. Clearly she was new to all this. I mean it's not everyday that you basically get sold off to someone.
She once had a life like this three years ago; but not anymore. She had not yet had her first time or first kiss. Well she might've almost had her first kiss in middle school, but that was about it.
But she didn't think she ever would. But something about Xavier made her feel safe, happy. He made her forget about all the bad things that had happened. But the feeling that this might not last for long made her distaste for this arrangement grow. The harsh reality would hit soon and it would suck. At least for now she would enjoy this time with Xavier, he didn't seem that bad but Iris didn't want to speak too soon. She had already done that in the past and look where she ended up. Miserable.
She tried to slowly get up and not wake up Xavier. Key word, tried. He held onto her wrist and pulled her against him, cuddling even tighter than before. The warmth of his bare chest was too much to handle.
Iris tried to escape once again but failed. "Don't go, just a few more minutes," mumbled Xavier. She lightly chuckled and kissed him on the cheek.
He slowly fluttered his eyes open at the action. "Good morning beautiful," he smiled. He would love to wake up everyday to this sight. But maybe not the same woman. After all, he reminded himself that he would definitely try with Iris. In fact he only had eyes for her during this time. But he couldn't help thinking if that would last...
No.
Of course it would, he thought. She will be his.
"Morning," Iris replied blushing. He sat up wrapping her legs around his torso. Once he got up Iris squealed at the sudden action.
"Don't worry," he said laughing. "I won't drop you." She eased up as he took them upstairs still holding onto Iris.
Carefully, he laid her down onto his bed. She gasped at the sight of New York City. It was absolutely gorgeous. Xavier's bedroom was clean and nice, she could tell he likes the color black a lot.
Xavier went to his built in bathroom to brush his teeth, Iris joined him. They both smiled at each other while brushing their teeth. "Here are your clothes, I had someone pick them up for you last night," Xavier informed her.
Iris nodded and thanked him as he left the bathroom, letting her take a shower. Getting out of the shower, Iris looked at her outfit, it was casual yet cute.
