Unknown POV
I let out an aggravated sigh and glanced at the ticking grandfather clock. When was this idiot going to show up? I can't just let them get away with all of this. Especially since they now know the truth.
In a matter of time my plan will successfully play out and they will have no clue that something went wrong. But he will, once his prized possession is taken away.
I chuckle at the thought of him begging for me to let her go. Which won't happen because she'll be dead by then. At least I hope so.
"What do you want?" His voice came clear and bounced off the walls in the hollow room.
"Find her and bring her to me. Make sure to not arise any suspicion. Be slick and quick."
He nodded his head and sighed before turning around and out of the room. This plan will work out, I reassured myself before pouring another drink of scotch.
No one will see this coming.
Not even Xavier Lee Queen. Especially with my new trio I formed. It wasn't easy staying on the down low but now this will definitely be refreshing. After all, revenge is sweet.
"Have you done your digging?" I asked the blonde as she came into view. She nodded her head and smirked.
"They're together in the penthouse location. It won't be hard to take her but a bunch of mafia men and security are gathered around. How will we do this?"
"Don't worry, I have it under control. He's gone out to take her. Just wait for your next orders and for things to play out."
She nods before leaving me alone once again in the room. I sighed. If only that bitch didn't make shit so complicated. She now has Xavier wrapped around her little fingers and he will do whatever she wants. This won't be easy but the ending and satisfaction surely will be nice. She has ruined all three of our lives and together we will ruin both of theirs.
Just you wait, little Iris.
Although I do know that it isn't her fault, her bitch of a mother left. And I will torture her daughter to the end. Even if she dies, which I will make sure of. I've had enough of their bullshit, and so has my trio of two other people. This will definitely be a fun game.
And in a matter of time, it will come to play.
Iris POV
I felt as if a weight on my shoulders had eased. It felt nice to just be laying in Xavier's arms while he slept peacefully. His body warmth always brought me peace and a sense of security and safety. I wish this could last longer but I knew better, he had work to do and I wasn't going to be one to stop him. And I know that if I do tell him I want to spend more time with him, he will surely make time for me and spend as much as he can to make me happy.
Which is what I love about him. He will always make time for me, no matter what. Especially now since my due date is approaching and in a matter of time, we will have our first born. As much as I was excited, in the pit of my stomach, I was nervous and anxious. What if something goes wrong? What if I don't make it in labor?
What if I'm too weak?
Xavier, Maria, and Mary assured me many times that they would be there to help me at any cost. But what if their help didn't work. What if I just gave up in the middle of giving birth? They would have to preform surgery and I surely wasn't ready for that.
I shook my head at the negative thoughts that seemed to cloud me every time I would bring this topic up. But I just can't help it. The worrying was a lot and even Xavier knew that, which is why he gave Taylor the job to handle things while he was going to be there for me and help me. I felt a bit pathetic that I needed Xavier's help in this, but I knew he didn't mind. Neither did I. Spending time with him wasn't such a bad idea. After all, he would be taking time off until I give birth, then he will continue on and take over for Taylor.
