Since my plans have been fucked by Demi and her beloved husband, I asked Amy if we could meet up later tonight. I didn't tell her when, but I told her that I would text her the time and place.

I was so grateful that Detective Bennett had given me her phone number, but I did find it odd that Amy didn't have an address. How else was I supposed to know where she lived if she didn't give me her address. Oh, well. Maybe, she'll give it to me later.

"Alright! Who's next?!" Ronnie, Nick's friend, yelled, looking at me and Emma. He smiled at me and said, "You!" I turned my head in the other direction, pretending I didn't see him. "Whatever your name is, it's your turn!" Ronnie yelled again.

I shook my head in fear and clung onto the side of the boat. "Jade! It's your turn to go!" Emma yells, sitting on Nick's lap with her arms draped around his neck.

"No fucking way!" I shouted. "Oh, come on, Jade! Don't be a chicken!" Nick teased. "I'm not a chicken." As soon as I said that, Nick and Emma began to cluck at me as they were chickens themselves.

"Knock it off, you two! If Jade doesn't want to do it, then she doesn't have to!" Demi hollered, defending me as she was tucked under a white towel and occupied with a Women's Health magazine that she had just found in the cabin on the boat.

"It's not even that scary! Come on, I'll do it with you!" Emma yelled as she got up from Nick's lap and grabbed my hand. As nervous I was to parasail, I decided that I should just put on my big girl panties and get this whole thing over with.

I sighed in defeat, untucking my legs from the seat and getting up slowly as Ronnie was steering the boat. Emma handed me a safety vest and I grabbed it, putting my arms through the holes. When I finished putting on my vest, I noticed that Emma already had her harness connected to her vest.

"Aren't you forgetting something?" Nick asked, chuckling as he was brandishing a harness in the air. I rolled my eyes in annoyance at his constant need to piss me the fuck off.

With his devilish grin, Nick threw the harness at me. Not to me, at me. I swear to God, I wanted to push him overboard. The harness flew to the edge of the boat and me with my dumbass self decided to fetch for it.

I stomped off in anger and as I am walking towards the edge of the boat, I happened to slip on a big ass puddle of water and managed to hit my head on the tail. I heard a gasp followed by someone calling my name, but I couldn't see who it was. Before I knew it, I felt my body hit something and everything went dark.
