I’m still dancing the night away in a rock music with August when suddenly, a pair of hand grabbed my wrist. When I found out who it was, kumunot ang noo ko.

“What?!” Singhal ko kay Tim.

“Tara na, I’ll drive you home.”

Amanda was at his back, hindi padin makatingin ng direkta sa akin.

“Pwede ba wag mo na akong alalahain? Well, if you really are worried.” I said sarcastically.

“Tara na.” His voice is irritated. So what? I’m irritated too!

“Ayoko nga!”

Si August ay pabaling baling ang tingin from me to Tim to Amanda and then back to me.

Timothy slipped his hand at his slacks’ pocket and then it came out with a phone. He tapped the screen for a while and then presented it to my face. I focused my eyes and saw his conversation with kuya Davien.

“You are my cargo tonight. That’s an order galing kay Davien.” Tim stated.

“Then ignore him! What are you? An errand boy who follows his master’s order?”

“Tara na.” For the second time, Tim grabbed my hand and then lightly pulled me.

Pero bago kami makahakbang, August hold his hand.

“I will bring her home. Ako ang date nya tonight kaya ako ang may responsibility sa kanya.”

Because of that, mas lalong lumakas ang loob ko to play bitch towards Tim.
I’m throwing dagger at Tim because of my glare.

“If you want to leave, then leave. Wag mo ako pinapakialaman. I’ll go home in my liking, not because you wanted to. You’re not even a relative.” I bitterly said.

“Daniela...” Amanda calls.

“Just go. Go if you two wanted to. Go!” Pag-irap ko, but not directly to Amanda, kay Tim ako nagmamataray. I walk away and August chased me. He’s calling my name.

My night was ruined. I never go back to dance floor. I stayed out of the party with August. We continue the night talking, feeling more comfortable towards each other. After the J.S Prom, I called kuya Davien to pick me up.

I was waiting in front of the school’s gate when kuya Vien’s car stopped right in front of us.

“Bye, August. It’s very nice meeting you.” I wave at him. Tapos pumasok ako ng sasakyan.

When I get in, I wasn’t expecting that it was Timothy who’s driving the car and not kuya.

“Enjoying ourselves, are we?” He said rather than ask.

August were still waving at my window when he started driving the car away. Bastos.

I didn’t talk to Timothy for our entire ride. When we got home, mom insisted Tim to spend the night at the vacant room next to mine dahil alas dos na ng madaling araw. Dire-diretso akong pumasok ng bahay kaya I don’t know if he stayed or if he left.

I removed all my makeup and I changed my clothes. From gown into pajama. Because I was tired, and I want to forget all the things in my head, I sleep peacefully.

I ignored his presence and I walk silently to the refrigerator to get myself a milk. I already finished my rotary morning hygiene.
