34: Taste of Temptation

[Third Person's Point of View]

"You have to start in brief contact. Say for example, you will accidentally touch him, or you will look into his eyes longer than usual. And then you need to change your way of clothing. You are way too professional in dressing yourself. When you are home alone with Tim, you need to show a little extra of your skin. Especially at night. I swear, Rhein. Night is the perfect time in seducing someone. I've already proven and tested it myself." Fatima chuckled in the middle of her advice. Then her cheeks turns rosy. "Anyway, this coming Saturday or Sunday night you have to start."

"How? I can't think of anything! I don't even know if I will be able to execute all of those without making it too obvious."

"At nightfall, knock on his door wearing a daring and sexy nighties.Tell him that you wanted to go and have a vacation but you can't find a perfect place. Ask for help. Ask his preference. Who knows? It may ended up as a belated honeymoon?"

"No way! And besides, I have a list of places that I wanted to visit!"

"Ugh! It's all up to you now! Don't ask me anymore. Ask google instead!"

Rhein couldn't help but to laugh at herself now. She's right in front of her husband's room hugging a magazine of Philippine Islands. Underneath her black robe is a very daring and sexy red nighties. She even make herself shower in sweet perfume. Rhein also intended her messy hair to "add" sexiness to a woman's look. That's what she read on the internet.

If she only knew that she'll eventually fall to Fatima's suggestion, she wouldn't annoy her.

Rhein took a deep breath. Deep as a dried well.

She raised her hand, aiming to knock on Tim's door. However, before her knuckles touched the wooden door, it suddenly turns open. Both of them was frozen when they saw each other at unexpected timing.

Lalo pa ngang nagulat si Rhein because lantad na lantad sa mga mata nya ang malusog na katawan ni Tim. He ain't wearing a shirt at all! It never cross her mind that she's got a sexy and hottie husband. It never crossed her awful min until now that she's seeing it.

Nakabilog ang kamay ni Rhein kasi nga ay kakatok sana sya. But out of the blue, as if her hand was possessed by some thirst God of desire, she suddenly wave and she said, "h-hi"

Tim recovered from his shock and then he blink his eyes quickly.

"H-hi." That was the only words that he can mutter as of now. After a cough, he asked, "is there something wrong?"

"I-I... nothing's wrong. Ano lang... I'm... you know... I'm planning to have a vacation out of town. Maybe you can help me pick a perfect place." Sumilip si Rhein sa kwarto ng asawa. She saw that his laptop is just above his table and there are few papers beside it. "Pero mukhang busy ka, wag na lang."

"No. No. Susunod na lang ako sa baba." Tim replied immediately. "I'll just go grab a shirt."

Naiilang na natawa si Rhein. If she's insane, she would probably imagine someone in her belly who is currently cooking rice. Kanina pa kasi sya nakikiliti dahil sa misteryosong pagkulo ng tyan nya.

"Actually... may dala akong magazine." She look at the magazine na yakap nya. When she mentioned it, noon lang napansin ni Tim na may dala pala sya.

Again, Tim was surprised that he can't move for a sec. He pull himself together and then make the door wide enough para makapasok si Rhein.

"Alright, come on in."

Rhein walk into his room and she can literally hear her own heart beat. Yung pakiramdam nya noong eight years old lang sya nang habulin sya ng aso, ganon mismo yung nararamdaman nya ngayon. Her heart is at her throat. Para syang matutumba na lang dahil nanlalata din ang mga tuhod nya.

When she heard the shutting door, nagumpisa nang pawisan ang palad at noo nya.

"You're working? Sure ka ba na okay lang? Baka nakakaistorbo na ako." She was able to make her sentence straight.

When she turns around, naka suot na ng shirt si Tim.

"It's okay. I don't mind. And besides, tapos na ako. My secretary will do the remaining work."

At the mention of his secretary, Rhein's mood changed. Automatic na nawala yung kaba. It was replaced by determination and will to accomplish her task.

Tim shut the laptop first and then gathered the papers. Tinabi nya ang lahat ng iyon saka sya humarap kay Rhein.

"My room is quite messy. Gusto mo sa living room na lang? Kailan ka ba aalis?" Tim asked. As much as possible kasi ay ayaw nya makasama sa iisinang kulob na kwarto ang asawa. More specifically, in a room where bed seem to talk and its persuading him to do what's been running in his lascivious mind.

"No, dito na lang. Ayoko na din kasi bumaba. And its not that messy." She replied. She already passed the first step. Since nandito na sya ay itutuloy na nya. It was all thanks to Tim. For mentioning that woman na pinagseselosan ng asawa. "Earlier, are you supposed to go downstairs?"

"Yeah. Kukuha sana ako ng maiinom."

"Sige kumuha ka na muna. My concern can wait."

Because he really needed the space that Rhein was offering, Timothy left his room. He went to kitchen, grabbed an ice cold water, he drink straight up and then he used the remaining water on the container in washing his face. Sinadya nya na magtagal sa kusina para kalmahin ang bugso ng damdamin nya.

He is so confused. He really wish for this moment to happen but everything just seem impossible. Na ngayong nariyan na, bigla namang umuurong yung buntot nya. Naduduwag sya.

When he came back, the meditation that he did in the kitchen become useless. Instead, his desire become stronger. Especially now that his wife is sitting at the center of his bed wearing a thin and almost a fabric-less motherfucking red nightgown.

His breath become very sharp. Ramdam din nya ang biglang paglamig sa kwarto.

"Sorry, I increased the temperature. Mainit kasi." Rhein reasoned out.

"It's alright." Timothy replied.

Lumapit si Tim sa asawa. But he still put precautionary gap between their bodies. They started browsing the magazine and exchanged opinions.

Sa gitna ng pamamasyal ng mga mata nila sa iba't ibang magagandang isla ng Pilipinas, Tim notice that Rhein is quivering probably because of cold.

Timothy stands up and then he grabbed the robe na gamit gamit kanina lang ni Rhein. He put it onto her body.

"You are shivering because of cold. You may be a doctor and can cure yourself, but you still have lost of children to bring into life. The worst enemy of doctors is illness, diba?" He stated. "Malapascua Island for me is the best among others."

Bigla na lang nawalan ng sigla si Rhein. Akala nya there will be progress tonight. But still, at least nakikita na ulit nya yung dating Timothy who is gentleman and the guy who do not take advantage with others.

She was about to say thank you for his help pero bigla namang tumunog ang cellphone ni Timothy na nakapatong lang sa lamesa.

Timothy answered the phone call and the first thing he said was, "yes, Jane?"

Rhein turn stiff on the bed. Even at this moment?! She can still interfere?!

Tim was utterly happy while on the phone. When he hang up, muli nyang hinarap ang asawa.

Holding the magazine, Rhein crawl off the bed. She stands up, her both bare foot flattened on the floor. She is looking up.

This is her last idea. Kapag hindi talaga to gumana, ibig sabihin talaga non ay attracted na sa iba si Tim.

Tumingkayad si Rhein. She kissed her husband on his lips and quickly pulled off.

"Thank you. Good night." She said.

Natulala na lang si Timothy. He heard the door opening but before Rhein take a single step out of his room, he run to her and grabbed her wrist. He gripped on her waist then spun her around. Rhein's eyes grew bigger.

"I'm sorry but I can't control it any longer." And right after saying those, Timothy claimed her lips. And it's not just the lips that he's going to claim tonight.
