Kabanata 6 : Affected

Weeks have past and our final trainings are getting more intense.

We have no schedule of training today kaya napagpasiyahan kong pumunta ng gym center.

Wala pa ding tigil ang pagsunod sa akin ni Ryland dahil narinig niya pala ang pagbulong ko sa kaniyang pangalan.

Hindi na rin naulit pa ang pag-aakyat dorm niya at mukhang ngayon lang siya wala dito at nang-aasar.

I think he is out here in camp. Maganda ito para sa akin at ng matigil ang paghuhuramentado ng aking puso sa twing naririyan siya.

I am wearing my usual gym attire. Black sports bra and black short shorts paired with a black airmax. My hair is in a high pony, isinasayaw ito ng hangin nang ako'y bumaba sa kotse.

I opened the back seat to get my duffle bag. Papasok ako sa gym nang may ilang napalingon sa akin. May ilan ding napasipol nang makita ako.

I ignored them and straightly went inside. Sounds of barbell liftings and slams of ropes is what I heard as I entered the gym.

I walke into the locker room to leave my bag pero bago ako makapasok ay nakasalubong ko nanaman si CPL. Yuressa Gueco.

She just smirked at me before she left my gazed. I just rolled my eyes, that pathetic girl.

"Sergeant Quizon?" Lumingon ako sa baritonong boses na tumawag sa akin and I saw him standing there. MSG. Travis Herrera.

He is my colleage back in high school. We are some sort of friends back then.

"T-travis? What are you doing here? Dito ka na din ba naka base sa Clark?" I asked and I can't help but to admire his looks.

His well toned body is tight with his white shirt, and when I shifted my gaze to his arms, some veins are showing there. He has this almond eyes that I already admired back then. Pero mas lalo ko itong hinangaan ngayon. It really highlighted his light eyes. His foreign blood is screaming by just looking at his features.

"No, I just dropped by. Didiretso na din sana ako sa Tarlac but I just want to straighten my muscles." Even his chuckle looks so manly. Girls fall for his chuckles and also for his features.

But don't get me wrong. I didn't liked him romantically, I just admire his features and for his responsible manners.

"Oh, nakabase ka pala sa Tarlac?" He nodded and his eyes shifted on me and then he smiled.

"You matured, Sergeant. Hindi ko inakala na ganito ka na kaganda." Pagbibiro niya kaya pabiro ko din siyang hinampas.

His eyes turned to my side and I felt an arm snaked around my waist.

"Kanina pa kita hinahanap sa camp, andito ka lang pala." I immediately eyed him and his eyes bore into mine and then his eyes immediately shifted to Travis. Matalim ang tingin niya kay Travis at mukhang hindi rin naman magpapaawat sa tinginan.

"W-why are you looking for me?" Gusto kong pagsasapukin ang sarili ko sa pagkaka-utal ko. His lips twitched in a sexy manner.

"I miss you already." He whispered enough to feel my cheeks burned.

Damn, Castañeda.

"Who is this guy you're with?" Hindi iyon bulong kundi isang pagpaparinig.
