Eva's POV
"Cassie said they'd be on their way soon, is she feeling any better?" Cas asks, glancing over at the little dragon asleep in my lap.
"Can't really tell, she's sleeping like a rock. We don't even know her name yet..." I sigh, placing a hand on her head. "But she knows Apollo, that means we should be able to help her out."

"Ngh..." she groans suddenly. As I glance down, a little golden eye opens and glances up at me, then Cas. "Apollo? You look like Apollo..."
"Is Apollo related to you in some way? What's your name?" Cas asks, kneeling down to look at her.
"My name's Ammie... and Polly's my big brother," she yawns. "Who are you two?"

Polly? I guess she must be referring to Apollo.

"My name is Cas, this is Eva. Y'know, I'm a familiar too," he smiles. "Watch this."

In a few seconds, he's in his dragon form and Ammie is fluttering towards him, looking more than confused.
"You're a dragon too?" She pouts. Both burst into flames at the same time, turning to their human forms, and there stands a little ginger girl who bears a striking resemblance to Cas. "Wait, what's your name again?"
"Cas. Cas Carmen."

She gasps before turning to look at me.
"He's not lying, is he?" She asks.
"No, why'd you ask?"

"Well, I have two big brothers. One went missing before I was born, mummy and daddy don't like talking about him though. I've only really heard about him through Polly. Apparently his name is Casper, Casper Carmen."

Cas looks even more shocked than Ammie did after hearing his name. So this girl in front of me, and by extension Apollo, are Cas' siblings.

"Y-you're kidding... you have to be, you..." Cas murmurs, almost on the brink of tears.
"Hey Ammie, you stay here for a moment, we'll be right back," I say, standing up for the first time since we got back. Slowly, I take Cas' hand and lead him outside of the room, watching as Ammie settles on the bed, confused.

"Are you okay...?" I ask.
"I don't know," he replies, the tears now falling. "My family... I've never got to know them, I don't know what to do. And well... even if I wanted to go with them, back to where they live, back to my home, I can't, because..."
"I know."
"I can't take you away from everyone here. This is where you belong. And I think... I think I belong here too."

"You should at least see them. Visit your home at least once, we'll figure things out from there," I tell him, still holding his hand.
"Eva..."
"Please, take this opportunity. You get the chance to meet your family at last! It sounds weird, but even if you don't remember them, their warmth will seem familiar. I would know."

When I first got to see dad again, his warmth seemed like something I had experienced before. You know when your family is family. I did.

"How did it feel? Getting to see your dad after only hearing some brief stories..."
"It was surreal, for me it happened maybe too quickly. But for you, you have time, it's not going to end up how it did for me. And even then, I got my happy ending in the end, well, happy enough. I don't really think I can call this an ending."
"We should go back to Ammie, plus, you need to lie back down. You're still ill."

"No I'm not."

He places a hand on my forehead and shakes his head. "Still got a fever," he laughs. "Are you sure you've been getting rest?"
"I've been lying in a bed for the past day or so. I'd say I've been getting plenty."
"I mean sleep."
"Well I don't know how long I sleep for, come on."

Rolling his eyes, he follows me back into the room where Ammie sits, reading over one of the pages from Sebastian's journal. If it were anyone else, I'd snatch it out of their hands, but there isn't much a little girl could do with this information.
