Sierra's POV
I'd been pretty busy lately. I haven't had any time to myself. The only people I've seen were coworkers. I've been dying to do some performances, especially with Ramin. He's been so busy Les Miz. I sighed and decided to call him.
"Hello?
Hey Sie!
Ramen!"
I mispronounced his name, teasing him.
"It's been a while!
I know! What've you been up to lately?
I'm actually performing tonight, I was wondering if maybe you'd want to perform with me, if-if you weren't busy?"
I asked hopeful.
"Of course! What time?
Six
Alright, what time are we going to dinner?"
He was so sweet, typical Ramin.
"You don't hav-
Nope we're going. Before or after!?
After I guess. Can't be singing with full bellies."
I chuckled.
"Alright. I guess I'll pick.
No where too expensive!
Maybe."
I chuckled. We talked on the phone for a while, I realized I had to get ready. Sound checks had to be done, and I had to get dressed. after hanging up the phone I stared at my closet. I had no idea what to wear. Something I could wear on stage, but to dinner as well. I decided on a teal gown that wasn't formal at all, and some beige heels. I quickly dressed and swiped on some makeup. It was almost six, I needed to hurry up and get to the venue. I flagged down a cab and threw him a fifty after we arrived.
As I ran through the door I felt someone behind me. I looked up and saw him.
"Ramin!"
I jumped up in his arms as I squealed.
"It's nice to see you Sie."
He smiled his perfect smile and held me close. I buried my face in his chest and inhaled the rich smell of his cologne. He squeezed me tight, so tight I was almost gasping for air at one point. I led him backstage, I had just noticed the guitar case slung over his shoulder.
"Oh, so you're going to play hmm?
Of course."
He gave me a smile, I melted inside. God his smile was perfect. We went to the stage for a sound check and Ramin played a song we had played together on one of his videos for Broadway.com I smiled at the memory.
"Poison and Wine"
I chuckled as he sang to me and strummed the guitar. I sang with him. Out duet was over and eventually people would be here. He set his guitar on the stand we went backstage. I sat on the stool and he leaned against the little counter. We talked for a while. About this and that. Just catching up. I smiled as we heard people start to shuffle in.
"Almost seven."
He grinned.
"I know."
I was so excited. It was decided we'd go on and do that song first, then I'd do a few songs and leave for dinner with him. There was a knock at the door.
"Five minutes guys."
The stage manager smiled. We went backstage and got ready to go on. I took his hands in mine and we both started taking deep breaths. He made a face at me and I bursted into hysterical laughter. He laughed and shushed me. I gained control of myself just as we were called on stage. The room was filled with applause as we stepped on stage. We introduced ourselves as we sat down. People whistled at Ramin. I got a weird feeling, jealousy? I looked at him. He was blushing furiously.
"Aren't you used to this yet? I mean you are incredibly handsome."
I smirked as I whispered in his ear. He blushed even more. Mandy has no idea how lucky she is. Not only was he handsome, but so sweet and thoughtful. He started playing and singing to me. And I was remembered of all the times he had sung to me. His videos, phantom, love never dies, all the press for both of those. I sighed and started to sing. People sang with us which made me smile. People applauded us and he kissed my cheek. I felt electricity travel through my body. I looked at him with bright red cheeks. He went and sat in the wings to watch me perform. I felt his eyes on me the whole time I sang. Everyone applauded and I greeted him with a hug.
"You were perfect."
He flashed me a smile.
"Thanks."
I blushed bright red, as he took my hand in his.
"So, let's go to dinner.
Where are we going?
That's a surprise
You suck.
But you love me."
I blushed again. I did love him, but maybe more than I should. Or, in a way I shouldn't. He was married for God sakes. We got a cab and he whispered the name of the restaurant to the driver. My face lit up as we arrived. One of my favorite little bistros.
"Oh Ramin!"
I smiled and kissed his cheek. My stomach flip flopped. He squeezed my hand and took me inside.
"Karimloo?"
He told the host with a grin. He had called ahead and made reservations. I squeezed his arm and we were led to the table. He pulled my chair and we ordered some wine.
"Sie?"
He asked as he took my hand from across the table with sad eyes.
"W-what's wrong Ramin?
I-I... Mandy's leaving me..."
He squeezed my hand and closed his eyes. A silent tear trickled down his cheek.
"Oh-oh my god Ramin! I'm so sorry. When did this happen?
Last month... I decided to wait and tell you in person."
He let go of my hand and put his face in his hands.
"Ramin, you know I'm always here for you.
I know Sie."
He gave me a weak smile. I take his hands in mine.
"Th-thank you Sie.
What for?
For calling me, having me come out tonight. I've been alone in my hotel for weeks..."
He tapered off.
"You don't have to be."
I blurted.
"I-I mean.
Shh."
He shushed me and leaned over the table and planted a kiss on my lips. His were gentle and sweet. I didn't want this kiss to end. Someone cleared their throat and I pulled away.
"Sorry."
I squeaked as the server brought us our wine and some menus. I blushed as I looked over my menu at him. He smirked and puckered his lips. I giggled. We ordered some appetizers to share and our main courses. I ordered the most inexpensive vegan meal I could find. He reached for my hand and smiled as the server left.
"I've waited for a long time to do that...out of costume.
Me too."
