Ashley's POV
Today had been pretty rough. A lot had gone wrong. But I decided to brush it off, because I was going to see one of my favorite singers. My friend didn't know who he was, but decided to come with me. I sighed happily, perhaps she'd grow to like him as much as I did after they saw him. I happily sighed at the thought as I opened my closet. There wasn't that large of a selection. I mean, it was winter. I decided on my favorite outfit. Dark jeans, a floral top, teal cardigan and my boots. I quickly dressed and examined myself in the mirror. Perfect. I curled my hair, something I hardly ever did and swiped on a minimal amount of makeup. Mascara and some lip gloss. There was a knock at the door I opened it up to my friend she scanned me and smiled.
"Zayum girl you look hot!"
I rolled my eyes.
"Yeah thanks let's go."
I shrugged my coat on, made sure I had my phone and wallet and we left.
"So, what's this guy famous for?"
She asked. I had told her many times.
"He's an actor, Broadway? West end? He's got a few albums too.
So, like musicals then?
Yeah. And he's gorgeous.
Show me.
You're driving.
So?"
I chuckled and took out my phone. I showed her my lockscreen, my favorite picture of him.
"Holy shit.
Yeah he's a hottie.
I'll say."
We talked about him the whole way to the venue. When we arrived we have the collector out tickets. He scanned them, gave them back to us and let us in. Our table was in the right corner, a little ways from the stage.
"So, no ones going to like storm the stage?
No, why?
He's famous and friggin sexy!"
I rolled my eyes at her. There's was a small gate, but it was just a precaution. No one was going to storm the stage unless they were insane.
The lights went down. We looked up at the stage and he slowly walked to the small upright piano. Everyone clapped.
"Hello."
He smiled shyly. I loved how humble he was.
"Everyone's having a good night I hope? If not I'm going to try to change that."
More applause.
He started to play his rendition of "Hallelujah" one of my favorites. As soon as he opened his mouth chills went down my spine. He looked around the small crowd as he sang. My mouth hung open in a goofy grin. I couldn't stop smiling the whole time. He kept scanning the crowd and his eyes landed on us. We made eye contact. He stopped singing for a moment. My eyes widened at his blush. He shook his head and went back to the song. There was a soft murmur amongst the crowd.
"You totally had a moment!
What? No.
You made him blush Ash!
No way."
I was denying it, but on the inside I was screaming. Had I really done that to Ramin?
