Sierra POV;
"Without art then Earth is just Eh", my grandma would always tell me when she took me to the museum. My grandma would take me to the museum every Saturday as an incentive for doing well in school that week. The Arts has always fascinated me, whether it was dancing, singing, drawing, or acting I was always interested. I don't know why but somewhere in my heart told me that I should have audition for the local theater production of Phantom of The Opera but I just told myself that it is just a silly dream of mine to be on Broadway. So I never did, which is fine because I have a wonderful job as a Museum Art Director and occasionally a tour guide. Today was one of those days where I like to be tour guide, it's usually Saturday. I chose Saturday because after my grandma passed away I would still go to the museum and I would just sit and look at the pictures. It brought me closer to her, as if she wasn't even gone, she was just simply living in the art that I love so much. This Saturday happened to be a bit busier than what I am used to, I have been giving tours for about four hours straight and they are not stopping.
"Sierra, another group is here for a tour. It's just a tall handsome fellow with his two kids. Plus I don't see no wedding ring." My bestie Max told me with a huge smirk on his face. "Max, thank you for telling me, but he has two kids which means he has to be in a relationship, besides I'm not looking for a relationship right now." I said stretching and taking a deep breath to go see this so called handsome fellow. "Well girl, if you aren't going to try then I guess I should give him a tour" he gave a wink "but seriously Sierra it has been six months since you and Tam broke up. Go out and have some fun." He pouted his lips and flashed his long eyelashes. "Because I love you, I will do the tour for this group, which means you are taking the next two tours so I can take a break." I put my hands on my hip so he knows that I mean business. Always trying to set me up with random strangers, this is the third person in one week.
"Fine. Sounds good to me. Go have fun on your tour." Hewiggled his blonde eyebrows and wink. I walked out and I saw this beautiful man standing there with his two kids. He had a perfect face; cutest dimples, nice lips, his jaw line is perfect, he had a beard that made his jawline look even more strong and don't get me started on his big brown eyes. I guess what they say about love at first sight might be true. I guess I zoned out because I heard him calling for me. "Excuse Miss? Umm my sons and I would like to go on a tour. We wonder if we can get a tour from a Mrs. Bojjess?" he had a very different accent form most people but his voice was strong, soft and sultry at the same time. I gave out a chuckle.
"Oh that's me, and it's pronounced Boggess, and it's just Miss not Mrs. Beside just call me Sierra." He reached out his handand shook mine, nice and rugged hands. A hard worker this man is. Sexy. When he took my hand I felt a spark, I guess he did toobecause he gave me a big smile to where I saw his dimplesshowed even more. "Nice to meet you, Sierra. I'm Ramin and these two little kiddos are Jaiden and Hadley. Hiya! Hi!" Jaiden was the older one, wearing glasses and Hadley is the youngest and has the cutest smile ever, takes after his dad's smile. "It's a pleasure to meet you guys. Before we go on this tour would you like some candy to snack on?" They both nodded and looked up to their dad for permission. "Go ahead, and thank Miss. Sierra when you get it. Yes Papa." They both said in unison. I heard a phone go off,
"I'm so sorry" he reached into his tweed coat to take out his phone, in one instant his facial expression went from caring father to hardworking man. "It's the hospital, I have to take this. Just give me five minutes. I know this weird but can you watch them while I take this call?" A doctor and those brown eyes, I couldn't say no. "Y-yeah sure go ahead. The boys and I can bond before we go on this tour." He smiled and wink. I felt my face get hot, I thought I was going to pass out." Thank you very much Sie." I was taken back, nobody has ever called me that before, I kinda like it. He left, leaving me with his boys "So Jaiden and Hadley how are you liking the candy?"
"It's wonderful Miss. Sierra thank you much. Yes thank you very much. Daddy was right you are pretty." I looked at them in confusion. "I'm glad that you like the candy, and wait what are you talking about?" Jaiden stared at Hadley, and little Hadley just put his head down. "Hadley, you weren't supposed to say anything until after the tour was finished." Hadley gave him an apologetic look. "While since Hadley opened his big mouth Imight as well tell you. You see Papa has come to the museum for the past three weeks sitting over there on that red bench just admiring you and trying to get the courage to ask you out on date." I followed his little figure to which it was a red bench that was a few feet away from my office. "He says that you are really pretty and he likes you." I was shocked, how come I never seen him before. I can't believe it. This handsome man was nervous to ask me out on a date. I guess we are both new to the dating game. I cleared my throat. "Tell me this Jaiden, and if you don't want to answer I understand, but where is your mother?" he looked at Hadley, who nodded yes, giving him the okay to tell me what happened. "Well, you see Miss. Sierra, our mother walked out on our dad when my little brother here was only two." Hadley looked up and gave me a weak smile, I could tell that he is hurt. "Daddy said that she wasn't ready to settle down and she left us. Daddy said that she still loves us, but we haven't seen her since then. So we don't know if she does love us." Istarted to get tears in my eyes. I reached down to Hadley and gave him a big hug and a kiss on the cheek, I did the same thing to Jaiden. "Thank you Miss.Sierra." I ruffled his hair." No problem Hadley, everybody needs a hug here and there." He gave me the biggest smile in the world. "Sorry that took longer than I thought, thank you so much Sierra for watching them. Did I miss anything important?" Hadley and Jaiden both giggled and I just blushed. "Oh, nothing just telling the kids here that a lot of art talks about having courage and finding love." He looked down at them and back at me, I never seen a man blush before. "Shall we start the tour?" all three nodded and the four of us begun walking.
