Ramin's POV
Mandy and I had just finalized the divorce. We were still friends, but just realized living so far apart wasn't good for our relationship. I had the kids for the summer, they had flown back to the UK to be with their mother. I was feeling rather lonely on my days off. I scrolled through my phone. Looking at my pictures. There was an old one of Sie and I. I smiled and decided to text her. Maybe we could meet up for coffee?
•Hey Sie! How've you been? Haven't seen/talked to you in a while.•
Now we play the waiting game. I set my phone on the coffee table and went to get a bottle of water. My phone buzzed just as I opened the fridge. I grabbed the water and jumped over the sofa.
•OMG!!! Hey Ramen ;) I'm great. How're you since y'know? :( hope everything is alright?•
I sighed. She knew. How, I had no idea.
•I'm alright. Was wondering if you weren't busy maybe we could meet up for coffee or something? :)•
•Sure! When and where!? :D•
My heart started to thud. I was going to see her. God.
•Grounded Organic? Um How's 2 sound?•
It was one thirty now. And I knew that was one of Sie's favorite places.
•Okay, see you in a lil bit ;)•
I shot up from the couch and ran to my room. I was in sweats and an old holy T-shirt. I pulled some fitted jeans from the drawer, a dress shirt and a blazer. I dressed in a rush and fixed my hair quickly. Making sure I had my wallet and phone I ran out the door. I didn't live too far away from the shop, so I could make it there before her, hopefully. As I walked I took in the sights of New York. I had lived here for a while, but it was still nice to look at. The height of the buildings. The amount people. I smiled as I made my way through the crowd. The shop was practically empty when I arrived. I ordered a coffee and sat down at a small table in the corner. I sipped at my latte and waited. After checking my phone a few times I heard the bell on the door. There she was. My beautiful Sierra. No-she wasn't mine. I sighed and waited for her to come over with her coffee. I was practically bouncing out of my chair. She came over and I stood up.
"Ram, you don't need to st-
I do."
I smiled and pulled her chair for her. She rolled her eyes and I chuckled at her.
"So? How've you b-"
She grabbed my hand over the table. I was caught completely off guard. I looked down at our intwined fingers. Her hands were so small and warm.
"Ramin?
Y-yes?"
I cleared my throat.
"I know.
What do you mean?
I've known for a long time."
Oh hell. My heart started pounding.
"I didn't say anything because of Mandy and the kids, but..."
She tapered off not knowing what to say. I tried to swallow the lump in my throat.
"Sie I-I...
Ramin. It's alright."
She stood up. I cocked my head as I watched her. She leaned over the table and crushed her lips to mine.
"Me too..."
She mumbled as she pulled away, blushing bright red. I was at a loss for words. My heard was going to beat out of my chest.
"You l-love me too?"
I finally choked out.
"I do..."
