Sierra POV:
"Nora come along honey we are going to be late for lunch.""I'm coming mommy just have to get my shoes." My daughter Nora is going to be four in a couple months and lets just say her father wasn't in the picture, he was a good man but had bad intentions so I decided it was best for Nora and I to leave him. Nora didn't really understand the situation because she was barely one at the time. Nora always had father figures in her life, my father for one and my great friend Ramin were always there for her. Ramin knew of the situation between her father and me, so he stepped in and helped me out so much. Ramin is so perfect with Nora, he takes her to the park when I am tired from work and he will come home and cook dinner for us when I had a long day at rehearsals. In reality my little Nora loves Ramin and I love him too, but I know that we can't be together because he doesn't have feelings for me, which hurts me so much but its fine I came to that realization a long time ago. "Mommy I all ready!" she gave me a big smile with her two front teeth missing. "Great honey, and I must say you look rather adorable." She giggled while she ran to me and jumped into my arms. "Oof you are getting heavy." "Mommy I big girl thats why." "Yes you are honey, but you are my big girl." She snuggled her little face into my neck. "Lets go get some lunch!" I kissed her a temple. "Mommy is Ramen going to be there?" "Yes sweetie RamIn is going to be there." I said emphasizing the correct way to say his name. "Yay! I love Ramin and he loves you too. He tells me all the time." I almost dropped my daughter out of pure shocked, that's impossible, Ramin is just my friend he can't love me or can he? "W-what do you mean Ramin loves me?" I tried to play it off but all of a sudden my heart started beating fast and I started to get a lump in my throat." Yeah, he says you are very pretty and that when he sees you. His heart beat fast. Mommy are you otay?" she put her little hand to my forehand to check if I was sick. "I'm fine sweetie, nothing is wrong. Come on we don't want Ramin to be waiting for us." This is going to be a long lunch. Does he really love me?
-------At the restaurant-----
"Sie over here!!" Ramin said flagging us down. I walked over there and before I can do or even say anything he grabbed me and Nora into a great big bear hug. I inhaled his scent, he smelled perfect, as always. He finally pulled away "How are my two favorite girls in the world doing today?" He took Nora from my arms and placed her on his lap and gave her a kiss on the forehead. Nora gave out giggle. "I fine RamRam." She said giving Ramin a kiss on the cheek. "That's great to hear darling. How about mommy how is she doing?" Nora and Ramin both looked at me. I was still stuck on the whole Ramin possibly loving me situation. That I didn't even hear them ask the question. "Sie, earth to Sierra. Did you hear me?' Ramin placed his hand on my thigh. "O-oh I'm fine, just fine." I said with a nervous laugh. I pat his hand that was on my thigh "Are you sure Sie, you look kinda pale?" He removed his hand form thigh, so he could pick up Nora to sit her between us making sure she will stay warm form this New York weather. "Mommy felt sick when I told her our secret RamRam. I sowwyRamRam." His smile disappeared he started to cough. He grabbed his water and took a drink form it. Trying to avoid eye contact with anyone. "RamRam you wove mommy and mommy woves you." Nora grabbed mine and Ramin's hand and put them on top of each other. My cheeks got heated and this was the first time I saw an Iranian blush. "w-what are you talking about Nora." Ramin said still holding my hand. "Why don't you marry mommy, RamRam? You can finally be my daddy. We can be a family" Ramin looked at Nora and then back at me. "What do you say Sie? Studies show that kids always see the truth in their eyes." He gave me his patented smile that I fall in love with those many years ago. "R-ramin are you serious? Do you really mean it?" He got up and walked to my side of the table and got down on one knee, he took hold of my hands "Sierra, I have never been more serious in my life and you have known me for a long time, I am never serious. I love you Sie, I really do. I was just too scared to say anything. I didn't know that you felt the same way." I started to cry at that point. I couldn't believe it Ramin loves me, he loves Sierra Boggess. I looked down and he was still on one knee "Sierra will do me the honor of marrying me?" He cupped my face, I shivered at his touch, I longed for his touched for many years. I looked up at him and then to Nora who had a big smile on her face. "Yes, yes a million times yes." He scooped me up and gave me a kiss that I have been waiting for these past years. "EWWWWW!" Ramin and I pulled apart to see Nora making a face. We both laughed at her. She stood on her chair. "Up daddy! Up daddy!" Ramin looked at me asking if it was okay I told him "Of course it is, you are her true father."He released me form his hug gave me another kiss and he scooped her up in a big bear hug. "I love you Nora" he said with tears in his eyes. "I love you too daddy" she said with her toothless smile. This had to be the best lunch that I have ever had in a long time.
