Loving You Keeps Me Alive
Ramin POV:
Flashback:
"Sweet Pea, Hadley and Rosalie are already at the restaurant, we can't be late, again." I shouted from our bedroom, while I put on my cuff links. I love Sierra with all my heart but when it comes to her time management she is horrible, but being the gentleman I am, I will never tell her.
"I'm almost done Honey. I just need to put on my dress." Sierra huffed out from our walk in closet. After I finished cuffing my links and making sure I looked well enough for this occasion, I walked into our closet seeing Sierra struggling with the zipper of her dress. I walked up to her and kiss the flawless skin that was exposed from her bare back. I felt her body shake at my warm kisses that began to pepper her back.
"Ramin, Honey we can't do that now, we will do that later tonight." She said whilst turning around to peck my pouting lips. I cupped her face to rub my nose against hers, Eskimo kisses, simple but sweet.
"Don't tease me because, when we get home from this dinner I will take you in a heartbeat." I whispered against the nape of her neck as I left soft open kisses from behind her ear to her lips.
"Ramin stop, we are already running late." She wiggled her body out of my grasp, I huffed out a sigh in defeat. She turned around so I can zip of her red dress that showed off her body amazingly. After I zipped up her dress I rested my chin on her shoulder.
"I love you so much Sierra." She placed her palm on my cheek and smiled.
"And I love you so much. Now come on we need to go to the restaurant." She grabbed the rest of her things as I stood at the door waiting. The thing she doesn't know that this dinner with Hadley and Rosalie is all a ruse, I'm taking her to the place where we had our first date and proposing to her. We have been together for three years and I know that she is the love of my life. She saved me from so many things, from the divorce with Mandy to my depression, my love for Sierra kept me moving and living.
A shuffle in the church brought me back to reality, I stood at the top of the steps with my Best Man Hadley crying like a baby. Surprisingly enough he didn't cry this much at his own wedding.
"Hadley pull yourself together." But I know as soon as I see my beautiful bride I will be in the same state.
"Shut up Ramin." He sniffed, wiping away tears with his handkerchief.
"My best mate is getting married of course I am going to cry. Do you why else I am crying?"
"Why are you crying Hadley?" I chuckled
"No more going out and getting drunk. We're old now!" He loudly sighed, I couldn't help but let out a small chuckle.
"Dad?" a small voiced peeped.
"Hey pup what's up?" I said while straightening out Jaiden's bowtie.
"Umm, when is momma coming out?" he gave a warm smile.
"In a minute, don't worry." I patted his head as he scurried to his seat. I stared at the brown French doors causing my thoughts to trail out.
Flashback:
"Umm Ramin the restaurant is in the opposite direction." She said worriedly. I decided to keep my mouth shut and ignore her statement, she huffed out angrily. I bit in the inner part of cheek trying to stop myself from laughing. I slowly felt my hands shake and grow sweating. I gripped the steering wheel, making my knuckles grow white. Through the corner of my eye I saw Sierra eyeing attentively.
"Ramin where are we going? And why does it look like you've seen a ghost."
"What? Me? You look beautiful." I said trying to change the subject. She just shook her head and stared at the window. The closer we got to the beach, the more I felt my stomach grow in knots. Sooner or later, I know Sierra will figure out where we are going. A few minutes later I heard a gasp coming from Sierra as we pulled into the parking lot for the beach.
"Ramin why are we at the beach? I thought we are going to meet Hadley and Rosalie at the restaurant?" I parked the car and smiled softly at the death glare she was giving me.
"Ramin Karimloo, I said why are we at the beach this late?"
"Because I want to take a walk with my beautiful girlfriend." Her facial expression slightly soften. I unbuckled and rushed to her side of the vehicle to open her door. As she stepped out the car, I bowed dramatically, causing her to laugh. Her glare finally disappeared when I intertwined my hand with hers. I brought her hand to my lips and kissed her ring finger softly.
"Come on the sun is about to set." I walked her to the top of a little hill that directly faced the sunset. As we got closer to the hill, I gently squeezed her hand.
"Ramin, I still don't know why I am here?" I smiled and brought her to the edge of the hill.
"It's because I wanted to show you this." I reached into my blazer and pulled out a red velvet box. She gasped as I kneelt down one knee, her lip started to quiver.
"Sierra, you are the best thing that has come into my life. You saved me from my depression and sadness. You gave our boys a home, you showed them love and happiness. I can't see my future without you. I love you with all my heart. My love for you keeps me going everyday. Your smile, laugh, facial expressions keep me going. I need you. I love you. So Sierra Marjory Boggess Will you do me the honor of becoming my wife?" Sierra nodded her head furiously. I slipped the ring onto her shaky finger, I cupped her face and laid a soft kiss on her lips.
The organ brought me back to reality, I blinked my eyes a few times seeing our friends and family standing and waiting for Sierra. My breath hitched when the French doors opened to reveal my beautiful wife to be her elegant white gown. I felt a lump in my throat form.
"See I told you, bucket of tears will fall." Hadley whispered as he handed me a tissue. The closer Sierra got, the more beautiful she became. As I took her hand from her dad's I gave a small kiss to her cheek.
"You look beautiful."
"You look handsome." The priest started the ceremony but I tuned out to stare at my beautiful wife. Tears started to fall and lumps started to form. The priest rambled on but I didn't hear him I was to focus on my soon to be wife. After I repeated the words the priest told me to say, I confidently but shakily said.
"I do." My smile grew when I heard those two words that I longed for.
"I do," she said proudly and surely. We both looked at each other and smiled.
"As the power invested in me by the state of California, I know pronounce you husband and wife, you may now kiss the bride." I cupped my hands around her red cheeks to lay a soft but passionate kiss. Our friends and family cheered.
"I love Mr. Karimloo."
"And I love you Mrs. Karimloo." I grabbed her hand and off we went to start our new lives together as husband and wife.
