Nightmares. That was what I always woke up from: nightmares. I looked over at the digital alarm clock and saw it read 4:07 A.M. There was no point in going back to sleep now. I've been going in and out of it all my life. I crawled out of bed, and walked into my small living room of my apartment. After turning on one of the lamps; I got on the floor and started to do my 60 push-ups. Then I moved onto my 85 sit-ups, 40 high knees, 75 planks, and 150 jumps on alternative feet through my jump rope. I remember when I got my first jump rope, my friends and I thought it was the greatest toy in the world. Now, in 2014, all kids, including infants want access to the Internet. I was really breaking a sweat as I looked at the clock. It was 4:38 A.M. I rose up before the sun and went to bed long after the sun went down. Perhaps it was time for a shower, no, a long run sounded better. I put on my jogging shoes, and I brought my old iPod Nano with some earbuds. There was no need to change my clothes that consisted of shorts and a very old t-shirt. Besides no one was awake to stop me. I headed out of my apartment door, and into the early morning. I wanted to try to run for about 12 miles since I always cut it short by 1/2 a mile. Jogging was the best thing I could do to clear my head away from the nightmares and haunting memories of my past. After finally reaching about 6 miles, I jogged back to my apartment. Now, it was time to shower, I thought as I tried to steady my breathing. As I grabbed my items for my shower, I started my daily reminders:

"My name is Katherine Claire Paulson. I am 95 years old. Born May 15th, 1919. My parents are Thomas and Samantha Paulson. It is April 2nd, 2014," I took off the dog tags and ring on a chain that I held onto for 70 years, as I looked at my reflection in the mirror. "Hail Hydra."
