stone snickered under his breath as he watched Eddie , yet again , trip over his feet .
his friend had got to have been one of the clumsiest guys he knew , he was surprised he hadn't broken anything yet .
"I'm nervous man ." eddie breathed out to him truthfully , having never been good with meeting new people . his anxiety was through the roof.
stone sent him a reassuring smile
"I'm sure it'll all be fine , you've talked to tommy on the phone and you said he was cool right?" he said recalling the relieved look on his friends face after the phone call yesterday .
eddie nodded at that
"yeah , but there's still three other members of the band stone . imagine how fucking awkward it would be if we don't get along?" he winced imagining how tense it would be.
stone shook his head and sighed
"stop worrying eddie , you're the most likeable guy I know , they'd have to be crazy not to ." he reassured him with a grin as they entered the apartment building.
they had been invited to open up for one of the biggest grunge bands in the world right now , raizer blades , something that had shocked them all.
they weren't due to tour with them for another week or so , but tommy had insisted that they come over to his apartment to get to know each other.
a ritual that the band usually did to make things easier and more comfortable for everyone in the long run .
only jeff , him and eddie had been able to come and honestly stone was just hoping everything would run smoothly.
he was just as nervous as eddie but had learned to mask his anxiety over the years so much that it was hardly noticeable unless you looked closely at his fidgeting hands.
apart from that he was as cool as a cucumber. a very nervous cucumber.
jeff was the one to knock on the door , the guys sharing looks as they heard yelling from inside and a load of racket.
"ha! fuck you angie! i'm gonna beat you!" they heard a mans voice exclaimed as the footsteps came closer to the door.
a girlish scream was heard next , more like a war cry as the door swung open .
the guys jumped back startled as both figures came crashing down onto the floor in front of them .
"I totally fucking won tommy! you can never beat me !" the girl exclaimed loudly from on top of tommy's back , laughing hysterically.
