kirk let out a quiet sigh as he watched both James and lars raid his fridge , knowing that by the time they left he would have to stock up yet again.
it wasn't that he didn't like hanging out with his friends but after being on a almost year long tour with them , with no privacy or peace , he just wanted a little time to himself.
but of course he would never tell them that so instead he stayed quite and watched them eat all of his Doritos with a grimace.
"hey kirk." lars called out to him from where he was sat on the couch with his feet crossed on the table in front of him , tilting his head over at the guitarist.
kirk looked up from the comic book in his hand , fighting off a aggravated sigh "yes lars?"
"have you met your new neighbour yet? didn't you say they moved in a few weeks ago ?" he asked him curiously as James wandered back into the room with a new beer in his hand.
kirk frowned slightly , remembering the large moving van that had showed up a few weeks prior .
but he had yet to meet his new neighbour , having been too busy and frankly too shy to knock and say hi.
I mean what if it was some large muscle man who wanted to be left alone? Kirk wasn't looking to get crushed like a tiny tomato.
unlike lars he didn't just throw himself at anyone happily , he preferred to stay to himself and he was sure his new neighbour would too.
"no I haven't ." he simply answered before looking back down at the comic , resuming where he left off.
just as lars was about to say something else loud music suddenly echoed around them , there heads snapping up at the sound of led zeppelin coming from outside.
James raised an eyebrow impressed
"well someone has good taste." he muttered in approval .
lars expression lit up as he quickly got off the couch , looking over at kirk excitedly as he peered out of the double glass doors that led to the garden .
"its coming from next door , it must be your new neighbour kirk ! come on , we should go say hello !" he told them happily before sliding open the doors and hurrying out.
leaving kirk to groan quietly to himself reluctantly getting up to follow james and lars out into the garden , hoping that they wouldn't embarrass him .
