Cherrie quickly walked out of the cake shop as fast as her legs could take her , completely and utterly done with his shit.
he had done nothing but complain the whole time even when she gave in and just went with the chocolate cake ,
he then even ranted loudly about the high pricing as if they couldn't even afford it!
she had never been more embarrassed in her life as all those brides and other women had stood there watching them , the judgment radiating off them .
he had been nothing but rude and disrespectful despite how many times she told him to knock it off , and she was done with his behaviour.
she didn't know how she had kept such a tight lid on her anger so far but the jar was slowly cracking at each remark he made.
she knew that this wouldn't work , there was no way she could do this with him without killing him .
she could hear james running behind her as he tried to catch up , looking utterly bewildered to why she had just stormed out.
"cherrie! wait the fuck up!" he called out over to her annoyed , pulling on her arm to get her to stop .
she quickly shoved him away from her , ripping her arm away from his touch like he was on fire missing the look of hurt in his eyes.
"no! leave me the fuck alone! you were so fucking rude in there james! what the hell is wrong with you showing me up like that?" she shouted angrily , running a hand through her hair stressfully.
wondering if she should just call up lisa now and tell her that she couldn't do it.
she had tried , that had to count for something right?
James looked at her silently before scoffing at her lowly
"I showed you up ? oh I'm so fucking sorry your highness , I can only imagine how hard it is for you to even be seen with me!" he snapped back pacing after her .
cherrie let out a noise of frustration
"god , you're impossible ! I knew this was a bad idea! you're such a selfish asshole james ! I'm trying to do this good thing for my best friend and you're ruining it!" she shoved at his shoulders angrily making him stumble back in shock .
before glaring back at her furiously , his breathing getting heavy .
"you're the one ruining it , you're such a fucking control freak ! any time I try to help you turn up your fucking nose at me! you think you're so much better than me but news flash sweetheart you aren't!" he shot back at her , his eyes darkening dangerously as he took a step towards her.
