"you cannot be serious Lisa!" Cherrie exclaimed loudly In disbelief as she stared over at the grinning face of her best friend who didn't seem to find anything wrong with what she had just announced.
there was no way in the world was her best friend about to marry the annoying Danish drummer she had only met not even a month ago .
this had to be some sick twisted dream.
"oh I am! i'd thought you'd be happy , you said you liked him!" lisa shot back with a look of confusion , having expected a better reaction than her looking absolutely mortified.
she widened her eyes at her dramatically
" I said I thought he was cool ! that doesn't mean you have to marry him ! what in the actual fuck lisa! " she yelled in disbelief , clutching onto the wine glass tightly in her hand.
she should have known lisa was up to something when she brought out the special rose wine , that was usually only brought out for breakups or apologies.
had her friend completley lost her mind? she hardly new lars!
and the two of them had only met when lisa had accompanied cherrie and her band hellkat on there short festival tour of the states.
they had been headlining them alongside Metallica and it was only right that they ended up bumping into each other .
truth be told she didn't mind lars or kirk or Jason , it was James she had the problem with but that was a whole other issue.
she supposed she should just be thankful that lisa wasn't marrying that jackass , instead she was engaged to the annoying loudmouth drummer instead.
"I love him cherrie , and life's too short to sit around and let love go . lars makes me happy but it would make me even happier if you were happy for me too ." she told her sadly with a frown , her glossy eyes making her feel bad .
cursing the puppy face that her friend had mastered long ago to get her way.
"I just -" she sighed quietly, slowly sitting down on the edge of the couch as she looked over at her still not knowing what to think of the whole situation .
she thought lisa was crazy and that it was all happening to quick .
the last thing she wanted was for them to rush into things and for lisa to end up getting hurt.
