"Ugh, I am so not ready to go to the Shadow Pack. The MoonStone Pack was hard enough with Lance's crazy tactics." I said, facepalming, repeatedly.

The gang was taking a walk down the trail that A.S.I.A had led us to. It was really weird having a robot making conversation, but it was also pretty neat. Technology was getting crazier every year. The sun was out and there was a nice breeze, making it a perfect day. I knew though that it would not be so nice out when we were getting even closer to the Dark.

"Trust me, if he wasn't part of the plan I would have taken him down already," West said, crushing the Barge's RootBeer can he had in his fist. Ryan instantly nodded. Once we met up, he made sure that Mallory was glued to his side at all times.

"We should discuss our plans and the route we should take going to the Shadow Pack," I said, getting down to business.

Ariella groaned, shooting an arrow at a random target. "Please, no more work talk. I just wanna eat ice cream and binge-watch Vampire Diaries. I hate it, but it's so hard not to watch more." Suddenly, she tripped over a long hollow piece of bark. Cursing, she stood up, rubbing her knees.

Ryan snapped his fingers. "I got it." He stood up the curved bark and smirked. "West, Ariel, you thinking what I'm thinking?"

"Oh heck yeah!" West said.

"TREE BARK SURFING!" They yelled in unison. Mal and I raised our eyebrows in confusion. Now we knew they were really out of it. It must've been the trip.

They looked at us with a look of shock on their faces. "You've never done it?" Ari asked.

"Oh, babe, then you're about to be on the ride of your life," Ryan smirked, kicked the bark to the ground with the curved side down, and sat Mal in it. He sat behind her, making her face heat up at what he called her.

Ari started to cut down more trees while Mr. Alpha walked up to me. "You've never seen Alpha and Omega?"

"Um...no?"

"Get ready then." He gave a similar smirk and took the bark that the vampire handed to him and sat like Ryan and Mallory with Ariella on her own bark.

We were on a hill and facing down. A look of realization passed through my face when I realized what we were about to do. "GO!" West pushed and suddenly we were flying down the hill, zooming past oak trees with a couple of scared birds. We started to hit some rocks, making us skid and do a full 180.

I gripped the sides tightly. "N-no-no-WOAH!" Adrenaline coursed through my veins making me squeal and laugh, not sure which emotion to choose. My auburn waves flew back making West cough and spit out my strands. I laughed, wishing I could see his face right now.

"OH NO, WE'RE GONNA CRASH!" He yelled, pointing at a big rock wall in front of us. "JUMP!"

On instinct, I jumped out of the bark. It crashed and splintered into tiny pieces as we tumbled down, laughing. "Oh my Goddess, that was unbelievable, terrifying! Why'd you make me do that Mr. Alpha?!" I hit his chest, making him groan in pain.

West laughed and smirked at me. "I know you had fun though."

I played with my fingers as I sat up, not looking at him. "Yeah...I guess I did have some fun...not a lot though."

"Miss Alpha." Mr. Alpha reached over and took my hand and kissed it, making me blush again. "I'll always make sure you have fun in your life. It will never be the same again."
