I stopped breathing. It was like the ground below me was gone and I was falling. I didn't know what to do or what to say. I can never forget this masked face... EVER. He was standing right in front of me with a black mask with neon green layer at it's bottom. The guy who was my partner for 4 years, with whom I fought towards evil, who was always by myside, the guy who made worst puns but surely can make your day and make you smile at once, the guy who looked care free but was the most caring one, the guy who was my best friend and somewhere I thought he was more than that, the guy for whom I was searching for 5 to 6 years, he was right here all the time. He was also looking at me with wide eyes and shock. He understood that who I am because I was wearing a mask too. His face said it all. "Ok now you guys may continue your dance" chloe said and amelie and chloe both left. Adrein and I were still standing staring at each other with wide eyes. "Mari..." my name escaped his mouth. I started stumbling back like a rock was hit to me. Suddenly all the anger, frustration came inside me and it started coming out in form of tears. I couldn't control it. I started walking out of the hall. I went to Mansion's garden at the back which was empty. The garden was huge spread in miles. I was not able to breath, has breathing always been this difficult. I was first walking but then I started running, running as fast as I could. I didn't even realize the words escaped my mouth "TIKKI SPOTS ON". Now I was running really fast. After sometime I finally had to stop. Tears were blooming down my cheeks. I sat down with my back on a tree. I closed my eyes and let all the emotions pass through me. I was crying. After a few minutes I heard a very familiar voice calling my name or I should say my nickname "princess". I opened my flattering eyes to see him. Not as adrein but as cat noir. He was transformed. I stared at him with his black leather suit and mask with cat eyes while tears prickling down my eyes. "GO AWAY YOU STUPID CAT" I shouted as loud as I could. He was taken aback from my words. "Wh-what" he said stuttering. "I SAID GO AWAY" I shouted again. "N-no... you know I- I won't" he stuttered again. "WHY YOU WON'T!!! WOULDN'T YOU HAVE DONE THIS 5 YEARS AGO, IT SHOULDN'T BE THAT DIFFICULT FOR YOU" I shouted while sobbing. He looked at me as if he was loosing his world. But that time I was too busy to handle my own emotions. "I was so worried for you, I was searching for you, I thought something happened to you, so many bad thoughts were crossing my mind, but I stayed strong because I wanted to see you again at any cost, even if it costed to reveal my identity to you which happened. I called you, I messaged you, I tried to track you BUT YOU NEVER REPLIED TO ANYTHING" I said. I took a breath as I was already having a problem to breath. "You left me as Adrein and as cat noir BOTH. I was searching for you like 5 years FREAKING 5 YEARS. I wanted to know happened to adrein and cat noir both, I tried my best... He fell to the ground on his knees and was still crying and mumbled again and again "please don't leave me... please don't". I broke on the sight. I have never seen him this vulnerable at any form, not even as adrein or cat noir. I ran to him and hugged him tight "I won't... I won't" I said. He pulled away and looked straight in my eyes and said "promise me... please mari I love you more than you think... I can't loose you... please promise me" he said. "I won't kitty... I love you too... I will never leave... I promise" I said. He sniffed and within a second smashed his lips on mine. He caressed my both cheeks and I hold on his collar pulling him closer for the kiss.
