The Ball

I chose a dress and wore it. The dress was beautiful and it really matched my makeup and hair style.

It really reminded me of the time when I was ladybug, it matches my costume. I wore high red heels for completing the look. It made me look taller. I was hesitant to wear the mask which adrein gave me before leaving the room. It made me look exactly like ladybug as it was a red mask with black outlines. I remembered that how I was trying to contact cat noir the whole month when I was not with adrein. I tried as marinette and as ladybug. I even transformed in ladybug several times trying to track him but he never transformed. I just want to see him... so badly. Even if this causes to reveal mine and his identity I don't care. I put the mask in my purse as I couldn't risk. I woke up the sleeping tikki and asked her to go into the another purse. I opened my laptop and opened the file in which there was my all searches over catnoir like when he was seen last time or hints to his identity. "Are you ready?" I heard adrein saying. I turned around startled and stood up from my place. His eyes were wide and his lips were parted and he was... blushing. I smiled at his blushing face. His mouth was still open so I went to him and closed his mouth by pulling his chin by my hands. "Close your mouth or else you will catch a fly" I said while giggling. He closed his mouth immediately. "I should remember that how beautiful you are and what effect you can have on me" he said and this time it was my turn to blush. "You look handsome too as always" I said.

His suit's neon color again reminded me of cat noir, especially his green cat eyes. He looked behind me and I followed his gaze to see where he was looking. He was looking at my laptop. I quickly went and closed it. "What are you doing with cat noir's photo" he asked. "I...." I sighed and then continued "actually I... I miss him" I said. His eyes widened. I thought he will be angry that I am thinking about some other guy so I treid to explain him "don't get me wrong. He... he was my friend. He used to come and visit me at my balcony. We became great friends. But after that last fight I never saw him again. He never came. I tried to contact him but no answer. Before going to America I wanted to see him and you but none of you came. I really miss my friend and wonder how is he?" I said honestly. He face looked sad and kind of... guilty. He finally looked at me and said "come downstairs in 10 minutes" he said and left. I sighed and sat down. I thought to give a try again before leaving. I poked tikki and asked her if I could transform. She said yes and I transformed. I opened the messages and saw that messages were seen. I stared at my Yoyo screen with shock. He transformed... he saw my messages... finally. Then I realized that I have to go down or else adrein will come up. I quickly detransformed and tikki went into my purse. I went downstairs and called adrein as his room was downstairs. We are in his another mansion. His room door was slightly open. As I was inches away from the door, a green light flashed from inside. I was confused by the green light then too I went inside and asked him "what was this light?". He looked surprised. He wasn't hoping me to come. "It was nothing" he said. His eyes looked full of pain, guilt and sorrow. I was trying to understand what suddenly happened to him. But I didn't wanted to be pushy so I decided to enlighten his mood. "So are we going or not?" I asked and when he looked at me I bite my lip trying to suppress my smile. He understood what I was trying to do so he smiled and came to me. He kissed me passionately. After a minute he pulled away. I saw the lipstick Mark's on his face and said "you should clean your face before leaving". He looked confused and went to see his face in the mirror. He smiled and said "I don't mind to go like this". He grinned. His grin... it looks just like... cat noir's. He cleaned his face and extended his hand offering me to take it. I came out of my thoughts and took his hand. We went to his limo and took our seats while driver was driving. All the way I was thinking that why all of a  sudden adrein is reminding me so much of cat noir or maybe he was always like this and I never noticed. Adrein looked at me and squeezed my hand. I looked at him and I smiled. Then I thought that it's a masquerade ball and I am not wearing mask due to a reason but why he is not wearing. Maybe just because of me because I am not wearing too. We soon reached our destination. It was a big Mansion with lights illuminating it. We stepped out and I hooked my hand with his and started walking. When we entered I saw a lot of rich people talking and enjoying their drinks or food. I felt a little uncomfortable because I was never been to a ball. "Oh god you came"  someone shouted from my back. I turned and saw a blonde girl with yellow dress and mask. It was chloe. She hugged me and said how happy she was that I came. She even told me that it's good I am back because adrein looked lost after I was gone. Before chloe tell me anything more adrein stopped her and diverted her to something else. But I understood what she was trying to say. I gave adrein a reassuring smile. Then there was an announcement for auction. It was informed that the money which will be earned will go for poor people help. I and adrien took over seats. Auction started and everyone shouted there bits. Then there was a last one remaining. It started from 10000$. Someone shouted 12000$. Then someone else shouted 15000$. But that moment I was having something else in my mind. I shouted "24000$". I heard people around me gasp and look at our table. But I was smiling proudly. "24000$ one, 24000$ two and 24000$ three. This one goes to the lady in red and black dress with Mr.agreste". Everyone started clapping. After the claps stopped adrein said "why did you do that? That money was for you". "When are you going to understand adrein I. Don't. Want. Your. Money. And this was for a good cause" I said. He smiled. Then a very nice song started to play. The song was 'love me like you do'. Adrein extended his hand and said "can I have this lucky chance to dance with you". "You may" I said while giggling. He lead us to the dance floor while saying "well thank you princess". I froze and looked at him. Only cat noir called me princess. But he didn't seemed to notice instead he placed my one hand on his shoulder and hold the other one. He placed his one hand on my waist while holding mine with other one and started dancing. I was really confused at this moment. Adrein and cat noir disappeared at the same time, never contacted anyone, green flash in adrein's room at the same time when cat noir finally transformed, him calling me princess, blonde hair and electrifying green eyes. I felt like I was fixing the broken pieces. Adrein was constantly smiling but I was in my own trance. Could it be possible that he is. Someone interrupted my thoughts shouting "guys it's a masquerade ball so you need to wear your masks". It was chloe. "I got your mask from your purse and Adrien's mask from his bodyguards so now wear them" she said. "Uh no chloe I am ok without it" I tried to find an excuse to not to wear it. "Oh sorry you guys have to" Amelie said. She took Adrien's mask from chloe and tried to put it on him but he was also trying to refuse. When I turned in front I was smashed by a mask on my face. "My work is done here" chloe said in victory. "Mine too" amilie said. I turned to see adrein and my breathing stopped...
