"Jungkook stop stressing so much okay? You look great," Taehyung said, watching with an amused expression as Jungkook glared at himself in the mirror.

On Jungkook's bed lay his best friend and roommate Kim Taehyung, who was playing a game on his phone and didn't seem to understand how nervous Jungkook was.

"You sure this isn't too formal?" Jungkook asked, insecurely looking down at his black jeans and turtle neck. "Jimin is so fucking handsome, what if he's out of my league?"

Taehyung groaned and rolled his eyes. "You're selling yourself short Kook, you're both attractive people and I'm sure your date is gonna be great. From what you told me about him, he seems very kind and not the type of person that would judge upon looks or style."

"Thanks Tae," Jungkook said with a small smile, trying his very best to believe his friend's soothing words. "He is pretty awesome. I'm so excited to meet him in real life, he's almost too good to be true."

Taehyung chuckled, a mischievious grin forming along his lips, "wouldn't it be funny if you got catfished?"

All colour drained from Jungkook's face as he thought of the possibility. "Fuck..." he whispered, his stomache twisting uncomfertably.

Taehyung shook his head dismissevly and tried to laugh it off. "Hey I was just kidding. Don't worry too much and go have fun on your date with the model."

"Tae," Jungkook whined, hating his friend for putting the horrible idea into his mind. "I'm gonna throw up the moment I meet him because of these stupid nerves."

Taehyung laughed, "no don't, if you end up not liking his personality you'll lose your shot at making it a one night stand."

"Pshh shut up," Jungkook scoffed, giving himself a final look up and down in the mirror.

"Alright now go!" Taehyung said, growing irritated at Jungkook's insecurity.

"Yeah, yeah," Jungkook gave in, grabbing a long trenchcoat that made him look sophisticated.

"Go on, your detective case is waiting," Taehyung joked, though he stopped laughing abruptly when Jungkook shot him a wide eyed look.

"No, no, no I was just kid-"

"WHAT DO I NEED TO WEAR TAE!?"

Jungkook had his hands shoved deep inside the pockets of his trenchcoat as he waited outside a cozy café. The weather was cold to put it lightly, and he hated the stinging wind, but the student needed a moment to gather his confidence.

The twenty-two year old and a man named Park Jimin had been talking on a dating app for two weeks now, and Jungkook would be lying if he said he wasn't already falling in love.

Jimin was funny, smart, talented, and Jungkook found him stunning on his pictures. The man was a model that worked for various brands and never had Jungkook been so happy to be matched with a guy. He seemed like a dream come true Jungkook wasn't sure if he could allow himself to be so excited already. Catfshing was a thing, and Jungkook had this problem where he fell for people quite easily... which didn't always turn out great.

Sometimes people used him for his looks, sometimes people used his naive personality. Jungkook had survived quite the few heartbreaks, but he never stopped trying to find that special person. He wanted to know what it was like to love someone that loved him back. Someone that cared for him just as much as he cared for them. And after Jimin had passed the Taehyung test and the Namjoon test, where both of Jungkook's bestfriends would check their conversations and his profile to see if he was a good person, Jungkook held hope Jimin could actually be the one.
