"I don't get why you made us go to the beach baby, the weather isn't exactly that great..."
Jungkook didn't answer Jim and just kept on walking hand in hand with the man along the coastline.
He looked at Jim, and the way his grey hair danced in the wind as they walked.
"Who decided grey?" The studend found himself asking out of nowhere.
Jim chuckled at the randomness of the question but answered it anyway. "Jiminie wanted pink, Lil J. wanted red, Min wanted black, Minnie didn't care and Diminie at the time wanted mustard yellow for some strange reason... really not gonna miss that guy. Anyway I figured if I mixed those colours grey is what you get so... tada?"
Jungkook snorted and lightly hit Jim's shoulder.
"What?"
"Nothing, it's a great solution... just don't say that you're not gonna miss Diminie..."
Jim rolled his eyes and chuckled, holding Jungkook's hand a little tighter. "I literally don't know him as anything other than a voice in my head babe. A pretty annoying one at that. Like the kind of voice that you just have to ignore most of the time because it makes zero sense."
Jungkook pouted and averted his gaze to the way their feet were making prints on the wet sand.
Jim turned Jungkook's head towards him and used that special look in his eyes that made Jungkook feel tingles in his stomache.
"You made be better, my gorgeous saviour," the man said as the salty wind surrounded them. "Maybe one day... if I try hard enough, I will experience full integration... and things would be easier for you."
Jungkook's eyes widened at Jim. "B-but- but Jiminie... and Min... I don't want to lose them..."
Jim chuckled sweetly and felt the harsh wind sting his eyes. "You wouldn't lose them... they are part of Jimin... they are just pieces of his personality that he had to split off because they weren't always allowed to exist."
Jim wrapped his arm around Jungkook as they kept walking. "They wouldn't leave you baby. I wouldn't leave you. We'd just be... singular..."
Jungkook closed his eyes as he rested against Jim. The crashing waves in the background could lull him right to sleep. The student guessed Jim was right. Not wanting the man to integrate maybe was a little selfish, but Jungkook couldn't imagine Jimin just being one person... he just couldn't.
"I want you to keep improving... I'm just scared... I don't know why..."
Jim pecked Jungkook's forehead as their heels kept digging into the sand. "It is scary. Even for me. But I think we'll be okay... I know we'll be okay. I'll never stop being in love with you... I hope you realise that."
Jungkook nodded, his feet moving on it's own as he drifted to far part of his mind, only to abruptly force his eyes open after remembering something important.
"Almost forgot," the student mumbled, leaning away from a confused Jim as he grabbed his video camera.
"Ah, your short-film," Jim said wih a smile.
Jungkook nodded. "Did I tell you?"
Jim shrugged. "I don't remember... but my memory sucks. I think Jiminie told me, he talks a lot."
Jungkook focused the device on Jim and immediatly loved the scenery he picked out.
The sea really matched Jim. It could be calm and soothing when the sky is serene, but when there is a storm, it can't do anything but go with the heavy wind and adapt.
